You’d take burrow cause he’s younger Carson? Crazy to think mahomes and burrow only have a 1 year age difference. There’s practically a hall of fame career separating the 2 guys at this point
For some reason I just feel this is not really a topic to invest too much time in discussing .Hopefully Seaton will read our exchanges and discuss it with Dan @@timothyharrington9347
I respect his opinions generally, but this is just a bad take on Burrow > Mahomes. His two main points...Burrow is younger and healthier. Really? Seems like Burrow had an injury. Also, Mahomes is paid more. Maybe for another month.
Carson has to be drunk. I honestly think he is saying stupid things for shock value!!!!!! Mahomes is 1 yr older then Burrow. And, lateral move roster wise???? Jets defense is WAY better then Packers. Jets skill players is better then Packers. He has to be trying to be provocative for some show or promotion!!!
His Burrow over Mahomes is simply him looking into a mirror. He was a Burrough QB with less talent, and a guy like Mahomes who breaks the rules of being an old-school QB is too scary for him. Mahomes has a ton of credentials and honestly, Burrough has no SB wins and no MVPs. Burroughs is a great QB but his Bad luck is going to be that Mahomes will be around for another 12 to 15 years.
0:12 Yes, and they broke Caron's Heisman before they sent it back. Dan didn't mention that. Carson was seething under his breath when Dan brought that up. 5.o
I'm sure Carson Palmer has forgotten more football than I'll ever know. I do disagree with him about which QB is the best right now. I choose Patrick Mahomes. Burrow is phenomenal and deserves the money that he is in line to get. While talking about the Burrow contract Palmer just mentioned 2 QBs who took their team to The Super Bowl, Burrow and Hurts, and deserve their money. The QB who beat them both was Patrick Mahomes. Another thing that I really like about Mahomes is that he us the 1st to congratulate these QBs when they get paid. I believe Joe Burrow will eventually win a Super Bowl and could one day wear a Gold Jacket. Mahomes is already there and is only 1 year older than Burrow. I will always look forward to seeing Carson Palmer on The Dan Patrick Show.
Top comment under every single Dan Patrick Show guest segment: "Wow, this guest is so great. Some of the best analysis, insights, and personality you'll ever find. He should be a weekly recurring guest. In fact, he should be the full-time co-host of the show."
I am happy that this week has seen the return of Reggie Miller and Carson . Both combine good information with humor. I found myself thinking that CP's comments about the overdrafting of the QB were astute but of course that is the way that the NFL has gone . You got admire someone who is willing to admit he bought a car that was "Champagne Brown".
Carson gave you the perfect perspective, "Protect your QB". Ever heard that before? Jets are not a top 4 team in the AFC. No playoff experience. All their players are young and haven't won many games. Please A-ROD, wear the wife beater T as much as possible.
I'll never forget whatshisname. Good to see Carson back. How come so long gone; Wanna talk about it? Always quick, thoughtful, and with some humor. Thanks.
The jets have GB paying some of Rodgers salary… and they know they can pivot off him soon as well if things don’t work out. This is not the case with taking Lamar
Love both Burrow and Mahomes, 2 favorite QBs right now. But Mahomes is better dude, Burrow does not have the imagination for passes like Mahomes does, can get it there different ways.
In your opinion of course, which is wrong. Hurts really could’ve been the SB MVP even after losing. Hurts is better than Herbert and Lawrence especially
I do understand why you may feel that way but simply stated Hurts not just accomplished more last year than three of those named by you but the fact is that while the Eagles had a good team with depth so did the Bills and the Chargers. I have family in Philly so I can truly say that part of me does not want the Eagles to succeed so I do not have to listen to my cousins go on & on ( please g-d do not let the Sixers win) but Hurts was not just great but seems like a good person who is committed to improving.
@@alexanderfotopoulos9728 Given the quality of the teams the Eagles paid this past year, it might be a little early to determine how good Hurts is. The Chiefs had numerous rookies on defense, too. The coming year may be revelatory.
Before they said Lamar is not good enough to win and now the question is durability. Maybe you should start asking why the entire roster is always injured. Two seasons ago he lost his 3 RBs, 2 CBs, WRs and oline, and his top two WRs were also injured last season. So let's talk to the doctors and trainers first before looking at a guy that played throughout college without injury.
@@RickMartinRU-vid You completely ignored my key points. I said that Lamar ran much more in college and was never injured. When he got hurt in the NFL he got hurt not as a runner but trying to pass the ball. And finally, look at all the players that got hurt on that team from 2020. All their running backs were out for an entire season 2 years ago and they had to bring in players from the street to start the season, and many key players got hurt last season as well. Maybe you ought to do some research on that first before saying that Lamar is injury prone.
