This race was a bit dull, but the black and gold Genuine Draft livery is one of my fav Indycar designs. That team was such a mess in 91 with Sullivan and the Alfa engine. Rahal steps in, they change engines to the 91 Chevy spec, and suddenly they're contenders again.
Sam didn't know that Indycar would intentionally stay at around 230. He was going by what had happened for the first 80 years of racing that the speeds were constantly going up and if they did let them go as fast as they could Sam would probably be close to right
Just to clue you in: they went with how HE told them he wanted it pronounced, regardless of spelling. Paul Page discussed it on air many times over the years. So, in fact, how YOU pronounce it is wrong. Amazing: even one of the richest people in the world can be made into a victim by a member of the PC patrol (operating , not uncommonly, on arrogant presumption.)
