Thank you for all the great tutorials. I think I have watched your videos several times. You have shared a lot of helpful tips and ideas. Right now I am making Christmas cards and have tried many of the sketches you share. But sometimes I have a hard time trying to color coordinate. That is not my strong suit. Thanks so much again.
Touchdown! Lol!! Fabulous cards. You know, I can craft and have football on, but I can't craft and have your videos running. Because FOMO! I always have to back up to see what I missed. So this was all you, me, and a cuppa this morning and I loved every minute of it. Thank you for breaking my Monday in gently!
Beverly Stotz Haha! I hope you still like me, but I’m not really a sports fan at all. That’s why crafting always comes before football. 😉 But I’m happy we had a lovely Monday morning together. 💖
I am fairly new to card making and I LOVE your tutorials. The work you put in to provide sketches and photos of each card is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much.
This is my first time watching your channel. First of all….😳! Wow! Mind blown at your creativity and talent! 👍🏻 I am a crafter as well….stamping, scrapbooks, paper crafts, etc. I love buying paper (my hubby would say I’m a paper hoarder…😉) for various projects including the 6”x6” paper pads because I love the designs but then get home and put them in my stash for “another day” hoping I will get the creative juices going. This video was very creative and inspirational to help get my creativity a boost. Thanks for sharing and I will be checking out your other videos! Blessings…🙏
Kristie You are "GREAT"" and make the most beautiful cards. I also LOVE the music you play. I searched til I found my favorite one. I bought it from iTunes and then made a donation to the company . THANKS a million for all you do for us. The song is Wish Background by Kevin MacLeod published by Creative Commons. You have played it for years. I don't watch any other person. You are the BEST..................keep it up. God Bless You Thanks, Scherree
Scherree Murray Thank you so much! (Sorry, not sure how I missed your comment.) Yes, I use a lot of Kevin MacLeod’s music. I support his channel by being a patron. His Wish Background is my favorite for Christmas card videos. ❤️ Thank you for your kindness and support. 😊
Thank you again for sharing another card tutorial. I love watching you craft. Sometimes I fall asleep in the middle because my pain meds make me drowsy. That actually is a good thing. I get to watch the rest of the video later. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cards! :)
These are wonderful Kristie. Thank you for doing all the videos. Your crafty friends greatly appreciate it. I sure do miss our Saturday stamp group. hugs!
How can anyone give a "thumbs down"? Your cards are so pretty! Enjoy watching you and try to get inspiration from what you do, love them all! Thank you for your time!
The ironic thing is a thumbs down is the same as a thumbs up as far as RU-vid is concerned…lol….according to a very popular RU-vidr 🙂so if anyone thinks their thumbs down hurts your channel it has backfired on them .
Just found you, wow how awesome! I been buying my product from Notion marketing for my sales but no longer carry! I love all the time you spend showing others, I enjoyed each video, you are amazing!
These are beautiful I especially like the Queen and Company card sketch ones with the tags as well as the black and white snowflake paper ones a break from the norm x
Such a beautiful collection of cards. I really like the vintage designs and traditional colors. I also like this format with the background music. So relaxing to watch.
sashabelle728 Thank you! Carta Bella always makes such beautiful papers. ❤️ I’ve changed it up slightly since my first 6x6 video, but I still love adding some background music while I speed craft. Lol!
Beautiful collection and you did it superbly. Really gorgeous cards Kristie. You make it look so so easy, and I know it’s not. Thank you for sharing. 🌹Rosie of Oz🇦🇺
Rosie Allbon Thank you very much! 🥰 I actually do find it easy. But using 6x6 paper pads for card making is my favorite way to craft. I can usually finish a set of cards in 2 - 3 days. 💖
I love what you did with this collection. My favorite cards was the silent night card, and love to watch the magical creations created with the scraps at the end of the paper pad. Big hugs...
I love how you use up your tonic speciality papers...I'm trying to do more of them in card making instead of just hoarding because they are "so pretty". Thanks for all the inspiration.
I love your cards. I am pretty new to making cards but have done a tiny bit of scrapbooking I guess you could say as I am a full time critical care RN with a family and I have until a year ago always been too busy to do anything. Now I’m desperate to find my craft
I Love all your stunning cards, so I can't pick a favourite 😍 Thursday I got my LFL kit YAY ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs have a lovely Sunday
Joan Orloff. DK Aw, Thank you! 😊 And yay for finally receiving your LFL kit. I sure hope the December kits don’t take such long vacations. Hopefully I’ll be getting mine soon. 💖
I love the pointsettia tag card at the beginning (and when you popped out the snowflakes, it was like a magic trick, lol ). I also like the "Merry Christmas to you and yours" with out the sketch. They are all very nice.
Loved this one, especially the traditional colors/patterns and the new sketches you adapted. The more Christmas cards the better no need to stop!! 😊 My favorites were the car pattern one with the Christmas tree (I actually thought it was a brick pattern at first) and the black snowfall one with the one large silver snowflake.
Hi Kristie! I love your videos! I was wondering if you would be willing to do a video where you show your craft room. Sometimes when I’m making cards, I feel like I get all mixed up with all of the many tools I have to use and i would love to see your setup! You seem so organized and efficient! I love how your paper cutter stays in the same place, how you clear your little scraps immediately and how easy it seems you do your stamping and die-cutting in the same place you do your card making...would love help! Thank you!
Lisa D Thank you! I appreciate your kindness. As soon as I finish the last of my Christmas videos for the year, a craft room tour video is next on the list. I’ve had a ton of requests for one. My room isn’t fancy, but it works for me. 😊
Congrats on the new lighting!!! I know it’s something that’s been on your bucket list for awhile. Wonderful video. I’m especially drawn to the red truck cards as I drive a red pick-up truck! Kristie I would love to be on your card list and would love to send you one of my hand made cards. Please let me know if this would be possible. It would be such an honor for me. Hugs!
Cathy Krebs Thanks! I really like my new lights. But I think I need one more to fill in the shadows. The red truck seems to be quite popular this year in different paper collections. Aw, you are so sweet to want to send me one of your cards. 😊 Send me a private message on either FB or Instagram.
@@KristieMarcotte Just reminiscing - used to love when I first tuned in to your videos that you used brads for the "three" and then dots but they are sadly missed in your recents Tubes...I still use the dots regularly as I love them when you don't want bulk for mailing, just like LFL peel-offs & her other stuff...
Pam Brunet Thank you! 😊 Probably not Christmas this year, but I will take a peek at the winter collections. I do try to use a variety of different paper companies and styles.
Love your work. If you want to save money on using shiny paper boarders use shiny wrapping paper instead. I buy it after season mark down and save even more. I also bought finger nail accent strips for the shiny stripes you add on, this also is much cheaper.
Hey there! I know, long time no comment! I love the new lighting - I upgraded my lights recently as well and it's amazing what a difference it makes. I love that truck paper!! Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you and your family!! Hugs!!!!
Rene Price aka gabbysews Hello! Thank you for your kindness. 😊 New lighting can really make a big difference. I still have a couple little settings to adjust, but so far I really like the new set up. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. ❤️
LeeAnn McKinney Aw, you are so sweet. Thank you! 😊 I already have a couple more Christmas 6x6 paper pads I plan to use. Then, I’m finished with Christmas cards and ready to move on to some general themed winter cards. ❄️
Love the shiny tiny strips you add to your cards. What is it called and where do you get it? Loved your video. This is my first time watching you and I definitely will watch more. Thanks for sharing.
Aw, thank you so much!😊 The stickers are called peel offs and they are made by Love From Lizi. Here's a link where you can purchase them. ldli.co/e/m5nn1yo
Renee Kennedy Thanks for watching my videos. I appreciate the support. 💖 I find it easier to line up the layers if I start on one end. Then I know I can get at least 3 sides even. I can always trim the last side if it’s a bit too long. I try not to press the paper too hard just in case in need to reposition it if the last side is too short.
One downside to revisiting your older videos is seeing a stamp set I wish was still available! Like the Pink and Main holly jolly stamp set here--can't find it anywhere! Do you know if it's still around?
Thank you so much! 😊 The thin stickers are called Peel Offs and they are made by Love From Lizi. I do have a link provided in the description box. I love Peel Offs and use them all the time. 💗
Ella Conner Thank you! 😊 Sometimes I’ll have a couple sketches picked out that I want to use. Usually new to me sketches. But after that, I select sketches as I go, based on the paper leftover or to fit a specific sentiment or image.
Kristie Marcotte thank you. And thank you so much for all the work you put into your videos and blog posts to help us make pretty cards! It’s appreciated beyond measure ❤️❤️
Hi Kristie, love ALL of your cards. Question, If I want a product and click on it, say to scrapbook.com, put it on my wish list will you still get credit when I go to buy it? I'm moving and can't order anything right now.
Donna Murphy-Vallee Aw, thanks! 😊 Most companies have a window of time after someone clicks through the link for commission sales. It varies for each company, but I’m sure it’s only about a week or 2. You could always add stuff to your wishlist now. Then when you are ready to make the purchase, click on my link again. I really appreciate you wanting to help support my channel. It means a lot to me. Thank you! ❤️ I hope your move goes smoothly for you.
I’m a big fan of all your videos. I was wondering what die sets do the little presents and the tree come from. Also are you familiar with Spellbinders card kits. I think you would enjoy them because they include tons of beautiful die cuts that you can use as your focals.
Elizabeth Garcia Aw, Thank you! 😊 The present and tree dies are from Queen & Company’s Special Delivery kit. I included a link in the description box. I am aware of Spellbinders card kits. They look very beautiful. Perhaps I’ll pick one up next year to try. 💖
Yasmin Dellemonache Thank you! 😊 The thin strips are called peel off stickers and they are sold by Love From Lizi. I have a direct link in the description box where you can purchase them. I absolutely love adding them to my cards! 💖
The good thing about these is you can knock a bunch of cards out at once with little waste. Bad thing is it boxes in your creativity. Someone else is designing the card design idea. I like to craft as I go.
Kristie I receive my "Love from Lizi" thank you. Now I can start use on my cards. Where did you get the finger cutter. I look at JoAnn's and went on Fiskars and didn't we it?
I love your cards and I love your set up and the music is perfect. I have never ever used a sketch before do you use them solely for mass producing Christmas and other holiday cards? Can you use the sketches for scene cards with cute critters? Anyway just found your channel and its fantastic!!!
Beth Catanese Hello and welcome! I appreciate your kind words. 😊 I use card sketches all the time, not just for Christmas cards. They are great inspiration and you can easily adapt them. Yes, you could definitely use sketches to create scene cards and add in some cute animal images. I don’t color very often, but I do like to use ephemera packs. For this video, I decided to stick with mostly sentiments and some die cut images. ❤️
Thank you so much! I didn’t design the card sketches, so they aren’t mine to sell. You can always print them to use though. I share them on my blog and also a link to where I found them. 🙂
Can you tell me where you got the Christmas gift dies you used at 29:20 in the video please? I love them! I know this is a year old now but I'm hoping they are still available. Thanks.
