I love your book so very much. I would love to make one like that. I am making 6 family recipe books for Christmas, I am running out of time. I am adding family pictures. I haven’t done as may scrapbook pages that I wanted to but they will all be thrilled with the ones they get.

I love your creation! And yes I think you should add that little extra piece to the front cover. It adds a nice balance of decoration to the other side of the lady on the paper. Also, you mentioned that you used your Cricut to make the cuts for the flap pages on the first page of each section...can you tell me what cartridge that was and the element from that cartridge? And...would you ever consider making a short tutorial on how you used your cricut to make those pages? I have a cricut but really struggle with how to use it and I love those oval cut outs you made and the cute edging on that page. I would have no idea where to begin making that with my cricut. I love your videos and crafty artsy works!

Hi I used the Elegant Edges cartridge with the variations of the Oval Scallop frame for the oval picture frames. There are several on this cartridge to choose from. I deleted the layers for shadows or decorative elements and just used the basic shape. Wow I'm so new to trying to incorporate the Circut into my designs but if I can figure out how to share what I did I will. Thanks so much for watching. It's fun to be back crafting again. Patti

Hi Patty! What a CUTE album! I love your album designs starting especially with the Romance Novel album that you made a few years ago.....well, maybe five years ago. 😉. I just reviewed the door pull section of this video again and I think you should add it. It balances out the front cover and gives it a pop of color that I think it needs. I don’t think it is too much at all. Thanks for showing this album. I grew up on a dairy farm and it brings back memories! The color of the lady’s hair on the cover is the same as my dad’s was! 😉. My mom’s was dark almost black.

Hello Diane - I actually had a buyer for that mini so included the pull so she could decide to add it or not. I think this collection was nostalgic for a lot of farm children. Thanks for watching.

Just beautifu! You are so creative with this paper. I think the addition of the door handle on the front of the book is to much. I believe that you have it perfect just the way it is.

Oh its so Pretty! I had thought of making something out of this paper collection because it's just so cute! I like it without the doorhandle on the front. Its so close to her dress it distracts and it can't be put farther away it would look weird not centered. Great project so many ideas Thanks for Sharing!

The cartridge is one I've had for several years and it's called Elegant Edges, I used the oval frames (there are several to choose from) eliminating all but the basic shape (shadows, etc) Thanks for watching.

I am so glad you used that gorgeous flowered paper. I've seen several albums using this paper pack and none of them used the flowered paper to any extent. I kept hollering to the computer as they made them to use the flowers, use the flowers!

You can get the magnets from Country Craft Creations online store, they are by Basic Grey and come in two sizes. And YES, you can do all of this too. It's not hard and you continuously pick up new ideas, new tricks and new tips the move videos you watch. Thanks for stopping by. Patti
