love the podcast dudes but this episode doesnt talk about Ozark more than a second. I wish the title matched and you guys delved into real comparisons in detail between the show and real life for the whole episode.
They can’t talk about something that they both don’t know jack shit about. Dude gets all of his shit from jail stories and movies. Or he’s watching RU-vid stories of people who claim to be I the cartel smh
Yeah Ian's titles have suckes lately.. like with Matt cox, out of Matt's impressive story his title was matt cox.. jail house snitch.. like really, that's what you got out of his story..
because each person ends up happy with their transaction and you both get to give the big FU to the "feds/irs/anyone touching your profits"... they make doing legal business so difficult and costly with fees/hoops/etc to jump through that by the time you end up doing it all they made their x amount in the thousands your in debt for the next 3/5 years and barely make any profit by the time you do end up in the green... i agree 100percent with him good honest business is great its said it has to be illegal now to get that satisfaction from an honest days work nowadays in america and thats coming from someone who has been here from the jump and seen it all.
Johnny didn't do himself any favors with the crowd that thinks most of his stories are embellished or outright made up to begin with... at the 16:18 mark when Ian ask him about if he believes content creators lie - He says, "absolutely" and if that's not enough, his next sentence is "Comedians do that. Comedians are the biggest liars, we will say anything, and that is OK". Wait, what??
Someone like him is who you hear about in a news post for pretending to be someone he isn’t. Al he is doing is painting a target by on his back but in both ways also. People are only ever going to see him as fake and it’s going to tank his somewhat of a comedy career. Dude is too cocky to look like he sells insurance with his dad
You aren’t understanding the context. He’s talking about giving people the benefit of the doubt when they talk about crimes in the past they haven’t been charged with. Innocent before proven guilty.
Awww shit coming in at duece I've seen this dudes stand up and some stuff on his channel good story teller although there's a couple times he sounded like he knew it was cap that he was spitting bout fighting with a big ol white dude all blasted n shit I was dying when he told that part I'm jus busting balls I've enjoyed quite a bit of his stuff yall keep it coming you are killing it Ian dude i haven't seen anything of yours I didn't like man thank you man happy holidays to you and yours brother much love from the P.N.W
Ian u should also look into getting some foreign somewhat popular tv show member that their voice is somewhat recognizable and make another channel and have them voice the show mr beast has the people who voice spiderman in a few other countries and its a huge hit and people spread the word and watch it because of its the voice of Spiderman but some other show would work too
😂 u could right a book on why Ozark falls short of real life! But it was a decent SHOW as far as getin into it and the characters watching them change and grow frm season to season...
Aww snap! Ian and Johnny! You done f- up now! You put 2 of Americaz most wanted in the same 🤬 room at the same 🤬 time?! Ain’t nothing but a gangsta party!
It's always good to see Johnny on here. As for Silk Road and Ross Ulbricht. Yeah he did put hits out online. Not on anyone he thought was a federal agent, though (that agent went to prison because of that case, BTW). They were people he thought were threats to his market and scammers. He had already made millions from his market selling drugs. I think putting a hit out online almost doesnt seem real. No excuses for him, just considering his mindset at the time. I dont think Ross is a threat to society. He is just some yoga loving libertarian who would help society more outside prison walls. I say free him
Both the major agents that caught him were corrupt and went to jail. The IRS agent and the DEA agent. Also the "hits" were never included in the trial, just used to smear him in the media. Also beyond that, the person he allegedly thought he was killing was threatening to release the identities of thousands of users unless he paid him.
More exaggerating or flat out BS from him ... Dude loves to hear himself talk. His first few episodes were okay but it becomes obvious he exaggerates & makes shit up to try and stay relevant etc.
My bunkie in a NYDOCS medium on my one violation was a bug out rasta 1 he had just got reclassified from a max on the tail end of a 25-life murder bid. Just the last person you wanna live with on a 1yr violation
In my experience it's pppl there on violation that are the worst to be around because they spend the whole time talking about what they're gonna do when they "finally" get out.
Man Ian I love you and what you do and stand for. But how you can not see through this dudes bullshit and lies is beyond me. I’m an addict and alcoholic my self and smell his shit miles away. I will ask you to go watch movies such as Blow, White Boy Rick , or any other movie about drugs, cartels from the late 80’s to today and you will find all of this dudes experiences played out in front of you. If he was that close to the cartel I bet he’s a fed. I’m not trying to throw any hate or anything of that nature toward you. Ask yourself if you have ever met anyone claims to have been in or associated with the cartel as much as this man promotes. The fact that he is still above ground is shocking. That’s not me wishing any ill will at all. People need to be careful. Exaggerated stories or not.
Y'know Howe and family dies and all the dirty laundry and dirty secrets come out the cuts? 😅 Apparently my dad's biological father used to fly dope in and out for the cartel and did some serious time. And that is why I hate having my dad's surname when I go back home to visit😅
I don’t see how Andrew is still popular. Like his comedy is great but anything else where freely speaks with nothing rehearsed he is awkward and annoying when he interviews or on his podcast. Terribly questions too just bad at it.
I think it’s with all comedy we all have our own taste. Andrew was great at stand up and I think he still is. I think there is this big stigma with chasing the norm with podcast and some people just don’t cut it for some listeners. I like his podcast as well but to each their own. He tries way to hard to be funny on his podcast
