Reservations are not doing well and I hate to see this happening. I have said for decades now to get rid of reservations as we are all Americans and we should all live together with the actual Natives that lived here for centuries!

ummm.....nobody forces them to live on their reservations. they decide to live there as a group vs splitting up in cities,suburbias etc. they have always been a very communal and group oriented people. saying leave is essentially the inverse equivalent to telling an introvert with social anxiety to live in a hostel(fyi kinda like a motel but no separate room,kinda uber bunkbed rooms with curtains) it goes against all that they are,its beyond uncomfortable, even terrifying to some, their history is with each other, and to be entirely fair, as someone whos half white and half everything else including Hispanic from spain, i don't blame them, people like my ancestors from all regions slaughtered, plundered,colinized etc to them,why would they split from themselves to live by you and me, most indians in normal society have very little blood from their ancestors, mostly bred out through marrying outside and random genetic disposition.

Wait a minute. There are 500 tribes across the country, (Virginia, New York).Some are doing very well. The main difference I see: location, location, location. The ones doing well are near thriving cities. The ones doing poorly seem to be in the middle of nowhere and prime targets for the crime/drugs/cartels. Any native reading this please contact me.
