W😮W. To start off, great job to both lines. Just to be frank from a director's point of view, the babies took the W. Its alot easier to teach 13 young adults then 30+ kids. I expected everything i seen from Carter but the Marlin kids did surprise me. Truly wasn't expecting them to be on the level that they are. Lastly, it's really not about age but skill level. Never go in a battle trying to beat the band or line in front of you. Just do what you practiced to the best of your ability. You can only beat yourselves. With that being said, both schools executed what yall have been working on pretty well.
This battle wasn’t close… Carter won easily. it was like a high school vs middle school. Literally. Marlin has potential but I think those younger kids should have their own drumline. It’s not benefiting the high school kids. The material their playing is too simple middle schoolish…
@@anthonymartinez4182 the only reason you think its impressive is only because they're that young. If we just played warmups and breakdowns instead of actual skilled cadences, we would be "trash".
Only 5 of 33 seniors at Marlin are eligible to graduate this year. Perhaps they should have paid attention to actually studying and learning instead of just band practice.
There’s no seniors in this drumline.. so what does these kids or this band program have to with graduation? You’re statement, and the fact you tried to bring negativity to something positive for kids, says a lot about your character.. I pray you find a life
