Hi Bob,Jenny and Poppy. Thank you for your review on the Swift. We got to the show yesterday and made our decision. We have ordered a Bailey as it meets what we need. We ordered it from our main local dealer who was at the show. We got a really good deal and we hopefully will have it by the end of the year. We also spent a bit on the pet store too. We would of been in trouble if we had returned home without a treat for our westie! Thanks for the coverage you gave over the show. Look forward to watching your next adventure. All the best Pete and Helen
I always enjoy your van reviews. In fact you found my perfect van. When you were at the Peterborough show looking at vans with Alison, I heard you say this van looks like it has a bar in it and I thought, that’s the van I need! We bought that actual van 😁. So I can say Bob Earnshaw has been in my van 😂😂.
Some lovely vans again, but what’s this about a “caravan” 🤔😎 Hope your feet 🦶 aren’t too sore. Thanks so much for videoing for those who couldn’t make it. Take care. Em 💜
Thanks for the series of videos from this years show. Been very interesting. I think I was pretty unimpressed as well by the 'compact' Carthago. It felt very claustrophobic inside and that fixed table around the seating area I think would drive me mad having to shuffle around it and everyone moving to let anyone on the inside out. And the s hower area looked very low rent. I am sure there are loads of Carthago fans out there who would disagree but for £130,000 that van is ridiculous. Just to sense check, I went back and watched your very first video from this show with the Autotrail Grand Frontier GF-88. For the same price as the Carthago, you can get a superb A-Class like that that exudes class and space. I know which one I would go for! (Probably not the GF-88 though, but the GF-70 as only need two berths and the GF-70 is essentially the same layout as my lovely 15 year old Autotrail Cheyenne 635).
Good video again thanks to you both. The swift voyager 540 bears a remarkable resemblance to the Adamo 69-4 which we've been looking at. and this has really thrown a spanner in our thinking. And several £k cheaper too!!. We don't use the cab blinds in our current Swift preferring an outside silver screen so one of the major differences is eliminated. Methinks we need to seriously reconsider.
Loving the videos. You’ve both done a great job at the show this year. I managed to pop along today and now have my eye on a little vw camper, what surprised me is that it’s even got a little bathroom in it.❤
Thanks Bob and Jenny for showing the swift 122 love the van but prefer last year's model which is what we will confirm with our dealer had seen the Carrera in photos couldn't get the feel of the van But now you have shown us we have confirmed our feelings for last year's model which we feel was more homely Loved your blogs this week great work Thank you once again 🤗👩❤️👨Jan and Colin
Thanks for these Bob. Has there been any conversations about delivery times for new motorhomes? Lots of comments on groups about 2022 orders now pushed back to 2024.
I'm not surprised at that, but I was probably too busy rushing round to ask those questions. 😊 We were going to be borrowing an Auto-Trail, but the demo stock was all pre sold even before the show!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Can imagine, visions of you doing a Benny Hill running around with poor Jenny running around after you. Now I'm showing my age. Thank you. X
Great video Bob and Jenny, as usual! I think Carthago motorhomes (not Carthego for the sake of accuracy, no disrespect intended) are among the best built motorhomes, really built to last, which is more important than ever given the eye-watering prices these days...
@@BobEarnshawMoHo No worries Bob - glad you seem to have enjoyed the show, must have been exhausting though...We visited in Feb and Oct last year. Last Summer we switched to a Knaus Sport caravan after a year with a Bürstner motorhome for various reasons (including parts availability!) and we are really happy with the simplicity and reliability (less to go wrong I suppose!). Knaus also seem much better at after-sales support. Still, it's good to keep up with your channel and your travels, even though I don't tend to comment much any more...
We really wanted to go but sadly the ticket sales had sold out for the Saturday, looking at the vans you viewed we thought was lovely, I couldn’t help but think though that you gave lots of negatives about the majority, however it looked a great show and we hope to go later in the year at the next 1. Happy days
