Got to be careful with Hutch’s. I found out they were selling fake frames and rebuilt watches. Cartier has certified vendors and they aren’t on the list. The last time I went in the girl said she could do the metal on the glasses in any style. If they are rebuilding or replating, that’s not authentic. In an authentic retailer Cartier will only service the frame for the lenses. I went the authentic route. $1100 all in to make sure the lenses were good quality with a warranty. A lot of people buying them without serial numbers or getting them online and they’re fake, quality all off.
I agree you have to be careful. I make sure I buy from eBay or in person. With eBay there’s a money back guarantee. In person I can personally authenticate. I’ve walked away from pairs that looked good in pics and fake in person
Can u make a video showing your Cartiers up close so we can spot fakes, i like the frames that your wearing and might search out a pair but only if i know exactly what the real frames look like. Thanks, im new to Cartier
Brand new those style frames are $1000. No way you're going to resale used ones for $1200 lol. Once you have aftermarket lenses the resale value drops tremendously. Original cartier from the factory comes with long screws attaching the. To the lenses with plastic screws covers for your protection. Once you install after market lenses the jewelers brake/ file the screws down. However a sucker is born everyday 🤷🏽♂️
I got prescription Cartier lens on my black buffs and transitions these hoes going for 3900 butttt that prescription dose drop like 200 off but thats it 🤷🏾♂️
I think they’re cool. Just make sure they fit your facial shape. I couldn’t wear the Mayfair. The Madison design is cool. The frames are the same as mine so you could change the lens shape

I did Adam. I had to put in a little good faith in them. I also paid with a credit card so had proof of a transaction. They mailed everything back to me very nicely and included the receipt. Sounded sooo shaky to send my glasses not knowing. I even asked could the just allow me to buy the lenses and ship to me and I’ll get someone else to put them on ... of course they said no they want to insure they fit perfectly

Of course, if you want Cartier and actually need prescription glasses, you can't get such deals. Instead, you'll have to pay full price, plus several hundred dollars more for the lenses.
That is a common misconception. You can buy authentic pre owned frames for less than full price and bring the frames to any optician and have prescription lenses put in.
Go get n a cruise to jamaica. Authentic Cartier stores with jewelry to glasses get it for 40% off the price than what you pay in the usa. got a 7500 ring for 3400, made my money back and some. Just can't get stupid with over buying if customs catches you, it's a big fine.

Cats in NYC were one of the first to wear or make Cartier eyeglasses popular.... and that was in the 90's. Nas had a pair on inside of It Was Written album cover. Down south and D-Town caught on to "Yays" in the early to mid/late 2000's. I'm from Philly and I love Cartier eyeglasses, I own 3 pairs, looking to purchase another (Black buffs rimless) very soon. There are other great brands of eyewear, but the quality and craftsmanship of Cartier is SECOND TO NONE!!! I found a really cool website that sells 100% authentic Cartier eyeglasses at extremely affordable prices.

I just purchased a pair of 100% authentic, lightly used, gold, rimless C-Decor's like the guy has on in this video for $650 a couple of weeks ago. You do have to be careful because they do sell fake Cartier specs on Ebay. You have to know what to look for to verify authenticity. Price is one indicator, but there are other things to look for.
You can take the easy route and pay full retail from an authorized retailer or you can go the more interesting route and learn about the glasses so you can tell what is real and what’s fake. Then you’ll have the upper hand and get a fantastic deal
