Great video! Man I really am tempted for the new large size Tank Americaine. They slimmed it down compared to previous years, sapphire glass, love the brushed dial. Also a new (2023) movement they made in house for it, to fit in the slimmer design
Great video! Can I recommend also reviewing Longines Dolcevita as a part-3 in this series? I know it's not as historic as Cartier Tank but it's the closest you can get to Cartier Tank American in case shape and also less expensive than this. Either ways, keep up the great work. Subscribed!
@@xyzabc7694 Thanks! I really appreciate it. I did consider the Longines Dolcevita as an alternative, but didn't include it in the video because Longines (probably) won't send me a review unit. And I'm not keen on buying it just to review. That said, if I get my hands on the watch, I'll surely make a follow up video to this series.
One reason i wouldn’t buy the old Américaine, and why I won’t buy the new Louis but WILL buy the new Américaine: sapphire crystal…If you think the bezels are a scratch magnet. I can’t fathom paying that much money for a sub-par crystal
@@TheWatchOut “…the old Américaine….”, which is the previous model with the enamel dial and the date complication at 6 o’clock. According to Cartier’s website at the time, it was offered with a mineral crystal
