This video explains how to calculate consumption & cost of a carton by CBM & SQM rate. For SQM rate calculation, we must convert 3D carton into 2D. So, I have explained them with two individual animations. I hope you like the video.Carton consumption is very important for all textile & garments company.In this video I'm going to show you how to calculate your carton consumption cost.Carton Box is made by using Ply Board. Ply Board can be 3ply, 5ply, or 7ply.
Garments are delivered to the buyer in cartons. Garments in poly bags are kept in a carton as per instruction of the buyer. Loading cartons with garments is called packaging. Packaging is one of the important part of garment manufacturing and exporting. Buyer generally gives written instruction as to the construction of the cartons. So, carton is the most necessary element for shipment of the goods. Its cost and costing also important task for merchandisers.
