I feel Julia's oven stories so hard. My dad once "stored" some drywall in the (turned off) oven because he was using drywall for a project of his and he was running out of table space and he forgot it there. So after my mom preheated the oven for dinner she found this drywall and from my room I heard my mom laughing and immediately got a text in the family group chat with a picture of burnt drywall in the oven and the caption "Clayton, what the fuck is this?" To which my dad denied all wrong doing because "you should always check to make sure there isn't any drywall in the oven before turning it on."

as a dinosaur nerd, i would like to weigh in on psittacosaurus (it’s one of my favorites). first, the p it silent (its name means parrot lizard). second, psittacosaurus has one of the most completely known life appearances. the skin was very thick (up to 40 layers in some places), and was countershaded with stripes and a dark head, and the bristles over the base of the tail were fluorescent under ultraviolet light. psittacosaurus also has the first known preserved cloaca in a non-avian dinosaur, which was highly pigmented (possibly as a display structure or, more controversial, for antibacterial purposes). it also has a preserved belly button, which is the earliest known belly button in an amniote. we also have evidence of their behavior, particularly in juveniles, who lived in mixed-age herds (most probably without parental care). and, to bring up julia’s comment about its arms only being able to carry boxes, the arms were too short to reach the ground, and so the only purposes the arms could have been used for would be to hold objects with both hands that were very close the the belly, or to scratch the belly, flanks, or knees. one last example of psittacosaurus being first in something, it is the earliest known example of a mammal preying upon a dinosaur, with a fossil of the badger-sized repenomasus robustus being discovered with a juvenile psittacosaurus in its stomach

My dad used to watch big bang theory all the time and cause I love the idiot I would sit with him and just play on my switch and literally the only good joke in that series is when Jim Parsons actual partner made a cameo as a character and Sheldon got his number. I guess it was their chemistry, something about it really tickled me even before I realised it was a cameo joke.

I had a roommate who put on a pot of water to make macaroni, but we only found out when the pot boiled dry after she left FOR THE WEEKEND.

I am 5‘-10“ and my partner is 6‘-7“. Finding clothes that fit proper, bending down to empty the dishwasher, negotiating legroom in cars, and public toilets are the four worst cons I can think of at the moment.
