This feels like one of those movies that, with tighter writing, could have been either a fun parody of '80s B-movies or an actually enjoyable film, instead it feels like they tried to appeal to too many different people; sex and raunchiness for the teenagers, '80s styling for the older crowd, and loony toons-style characters for supposed comedy. But that's just my thinking
More like "Abstain from Porn, and all forms of addictive sin" the movie. This would have made a great adult TV series... if it wasn't trying to shove a message down our throats.
+lizardlord4k I don't think it was Filmation proper, since they were long bankrupt by this point. This kinda screams "created trying to do something profound or very different for his last project."
It's funny to think that after they made the Snow White sequel they made this. IDK what they were trying to attempt with this. And really I see why they never released this. If you look aside the sexual content there's nothing of substance for this movie. I admit that it does have some interesting elements but those don't save the movie at all. And even if you wanted to watch this just for the XXX scenes just go look up Rule 34 porn of her. There's really no reason to watch this in all honesty. To think, they went from shows that were really cheesy then to making knock off movies of Disney to lastly what I can call their equivalent of making an adult animated movie with Roger Rabbit like elements to it. Seriously it's pretty damn weird I would say.
You can't wrap your head around nightclubs on the internet? Ah, this review was recorded before everything went crazy. Club Quarantine was definitely a thing, and it made nightlife accessible to people who couldn't otherwise participate.
No I don't think so. There is far too many sexual content to consider this for kids. Especially with XXX. I swear there's probably rule 34 for this character.(If i'm right then it was obvious as any character with sex appeal probably has rule 34 guaranteed.)
I don't believe you can create porn addiction in one night, those who have it must have have it many years, so that part seems like the creators to the movie must have smoked something to come up with that
Actually the reason why I watch this video was because I unfortunately watched it on RU-vid and honestly I agree it’s a very weird and dated example of animation. I would even go so far as to say that this is probably one of the reasons why I was not against the Hollywood strike!!…. Also I realize that I think the main villain is a metaphor for porn because if you take what they’re saying throughout the film and replace it with pornography it basically fits the narrative pretty well specially when they start talking at the end of the film there or how the guy is talk about how he was being controlled and how he could set himself free from XXX’s influence…..
It was possibly meant to be a Christian movie to something something the power of addiction and lust... and to "Moral of the Story... be good boys and girls and stay away from sex and porn" or something.
