I doubt it, his audience is pretty liberal. Stephen interviewed a celebrity who's an open Hillary surrogate the other day and the crowd ate it up, they love her. I can't wait to hear their reaction when Stephen talks about Hillary's little DWS proclamation.
+Carson Milledge Exactly. The only thing that would get a bigger applause than the cartoon Hillary is the actual one. The late night show is notorious for a having an overwhelming liberal audience.
+DeathlyDark-GAME ON!! It's better to not listen to news like CNN and MSNBC it's better to do hard research on the internet or listen to independent news outlets anyways
+Vanessa Darnell I'm still looking for more independent news outlets but so far I've been listening to Secular Talk and Humanist Report, I don't always agree with them but I can appreciate their transparency and tending to use sources to back up their views. Do you know any other good independent news outlets
lol that's not shallow and manipulative. If you think Clinton is manipulative, then you haven't seen a psychopath. Which come to think of it is probably very likely. Clinton isn't being manipulative, she's just trying to garner popularity like a regular politician would.
Because every comedian who has ever made fun of Hillary Clinton has been murdered. Thats why there aren't any comedians from the 1990s or 2000s left alive today.
0:14 "Why weren't you more excited, what's wrong with you" Not so excited because I choose the candidate that is the most qualified, not the one with the novel genitals. When the time comes, I'll be happy to vote for the first woman president, but Bernie should have won because he represented better _policies_.
+just0r Can confirm that Hillary hit the G-spot. Source: -Am- Was Bernie supporter EDIT: More correctly reflected current events, Hillary is worse though
Look how she attacked her old body guards, but yeah back to Bill she has... "The clintons war on women" book describes most of that and I think another book "Hillarys choice" too I'd tell you to google it but Bing might be a better option knowing Google tries to make her look good constantly.
When I went there a month ago, there were TVs for the audiences to watch. I only looked at them occasionally though, like when the huge camera blocked my view of Steven or a guest. I guess they're also useful for this too
Hillary was built by Disney's animatronic robot engineers, then programmed by that villain from 1970s Bionic Woman who created the FemBots to take over governments.
Nope. She was created by the mad doctor who made 'Robot Kiss' in "Kiss Meets The Phantom". That villain who made the beautiful, firm FemBots couldn't have constructed Hillary.
he threatens to get out of NATO (which has prevented a Third World War) and WTO, threatens trade wars, wants to ban an entire religious body from entering the country, wants to let Japan, South Korea , and SAUDI ARABIA develop nuclear warheads, is bigoted, a neo-isolationist, warhawk, trade warhawk, nativist, discriminator, crooked (Trump University) and a liar. Look up the definitions to each individual word, I promise you'll start to see a pattern... um, I'd rather vote for a rotting corpse than frickin Donald Trump.
Miquib, did you know that out of the US voting population, only 20% of that population voted for Trump or Clinton? And, out of recent polls that show more than these two options, Trump and Clinton combined average around 19% support in them. So why, I ask, is the 20% who voted for Trump and Clinton so desperate to get the 80% of us to vote for their crappy candidate, when there are definitely better options that the mainstream media refuse to cover? These numbers already account for the percentage of eligible voters who decide not to vote, and my goodness, there would be no reason to resign ourselves to a Trump or Clinton presidency if the silent majority (which has virtually no representation in our government because the two-party system has such a stranglehold on our lives) realized this.
The new YT comments are crushed up in the bottom-right corner under the video previews. Also bad is the new layout, with the voting buttons sort of half-indented / floating. It's total crap.
Laura Maxwell what? jesus you fuckers like to generalize statements for the sake of your argument. Unless youre being sarcastic I never said female politician are witches. Hillary fake laugh sounds like a witch.
kind of like what Clint Eastwood did at the RNC a couple years back, yet Colbert Ridiculed him for it. It's funny how he took the same concept and turned it into a bit. Gotta love hypocritical lefties
I wish we could see a behind the scenes on how they engineer this effect. I assume it's a voice actor and some premade animations, but the mouth movement is pretty precise.
Look up "Turtle Talk with Crush," on wikipedia and they give a pretty good explanation of how the technology works (though the Colbert team could be using a few technical variations here and there.)
If that is your opinion, then you are 110% entitled to it; however, all I ask of you is to seriously consider for about 30 seconds of your time if you would ever use the adjective "shrieking" when referring to a man speaking. If the answer is yes, then you are okay to use that term. If the answer is no, then I strongly suggest checking your biases towards women in general. No hard feelings! Thank you and have a nice day :)
+Lip22Gloss Thank you SO much for raising this point while not immediately accusing the opposite party of being the scum of the earth. This is the first time I've seen someone make the point without automatically actually making the sexism allegation.
+Lip22Gloss If someone shrieks, they shriek. I find it unpleasant to hear. It doesn't make someone's opinions invalid. Yes both men and women may shriek. I certainly shriek now and then. I am also aware of the fact that English PM Thatcher was mocked for shrieking although I did not hear that in her voice, might have been actual sexism back then.
She isn't a great public speaker, Bill has that gene ... but in terms of competence, knowledge and experience, well like Obama said tonight at the DNC, no one has ever run for the office who is more qualified --- and maybe it isn't quite true that NO ONE has ever been this qualified, but she's a lot more qualified than most ... and Donald Trump is probably the LEAST qualified person to ever receive a party nomination. I'm with HER.
Friend, a blind man with no hands could make a grilled cheese sandwich more qualified to be president than Hilary Clinton. She'd make a great spy, but I'd sooner take my chances with Mr Cheeto Puff.
I agree completely that she has knowledge and experience. Not completely sure when it comes to competence. But none of that matters for me when she (and Trump) lacks the morals and ethics which I believe should be the foundational qualities of an American President.
Those millennials are into the Pokeymons right? Will they vote for me because I said Pokeymon? Maybe that Hamilton musical, that's popular right? Pop Culture references are great because they're too stupid for me to win their votes with policy decisions!
3rd parties never win here. They can be useful as protest votes or to try and deny a candidate a mandate. Since I'm from NY and that state is solid blue, I plan to vote 3rd party because my vote has no chance of influencing the election outcome.
+A Canadian No, if you live in a blue or red state, your vote won't matter in the final result, so a strong third party showing could be a good sign of protest. However, if you live in a swing state, voting third party could hurt the candidate you think is the "lesser of two evils" and end up giving the state to the one you favor less, so you're better off voting strategically and defensively.
+Milky Butterwhopper because us normal Americans are sick and fucking tired of everyone on the left calling us all racist and biggoted. Of course I'm not actually racist but this pc bullshit is ruining America. I have no problem with liberal values, but this new age progressivism is facism wrapped in cloth. The left relies on divide and conquer tactics. Us normal Americans are sick and damn tired of all these pointless social issues that aren't issues at all. The mainstream media is against us, the establishment is against us, and HRC is against us. That's good enough for me, the silent majority has risen. Either stand with us, or get the fuck out of our way.
This cartoon portrayal is so accurate. It's not just Republicans that see her as a fake person with no real passion except to gain power. The Democrats have done Trump a favor by nominating her.
+BABA LSD Are you talking about me or Colbert? I'm not paid by anyone. Why would a Hillary supporter support making her look like the piece of crap she is? What world do you live in? I'm voting Bernie 100%.
we finally caught up to the rest of the world. They have been electing fascist like trump and hillary s for a while now. Its time people realize democracy is about as f ed as all the other systems of government. Any system can work but it can also fail
Very clever, but I can't imagine they came up with this in 2 hours. They must have started working on this last week after finding another clip of someone saying that the right's strategy was to portray her as a 2-dimensional cartoon. Nice button at the end, too. And I like how the crowd understood and laughed at the Spanish sentence. ... You're killing it gang! Here's hoping you continue setting the standard until November!
I don't know maybe the same reason why the conservative establishment doesn't want a big government authoritarian with liberal leanings aka Trump to be president?
The bad thing is: This is actually fitting satire. But I hope people will be able to look past her awkwardness. The ability to rally up people, like Trump does, is NOT the most important skill of a president. She might not be a dream candidate either (partly because those aren't actually real) but I don't believe for a second that she's worse than Trump. Trump is the impersonation of a corrupt business man who just managed to sell the world an image of a nightmare- and a dream-America that both have never been real and never could be. He isn't even masquerading the fact that he lies to the people. We need to care more about that. We are so frantically looking for people in charge who speak their mind that we forgot to listen to what those minds actually say. Hillary might be awkward in public. But Trump is a spoiled narcissistic racist, with the frustration tolerance of a four-year old, who managed to insult basically everyone not white and male on the planet, made political proposals that are partly impossible and partly illegal, and somehow managed to divide this country even more before even being elected. So ask yourself: What is worse? Seriously!
It's not her being "awkward", she's a crook who lies constantly and changes her political views on a whim depending on who she's talking to, she even changes her personality too. Hillary is the impersonation of a corrupt politician bought by Wall street. Hillary blatantly lies so much it's ridiculous, pretty much anything she says you can find her saying the exact opposite to someone else. Hillary isn't "awkward", she's a disgusting criminal and should be in prison. Trump's made proposals that are impossible and possibly illegal, but Hillary's actually _done_ things that are illegal. She's a corrupt war hawk who works for the billionaires. Honestly, I'm not voting for either, I'm not braindead. But if I was forced to pick, Hillary is clearly worse!
Amelia Hartman I seriously think you are confusing Trump and Clinton here. "Honestly, I'm not voting for either, I'm not braindead." That's great actually. Just don't vote for Trump. (But go vote!)
Amelia Hartman "She's a crook and belongs in prison." Keep repeating that. Makes you one of the cool guys. Everything you said about Clinton totally fits Trump. Way more even. "she's a crook who lies constantly and changes her political views on a whim depending on who she's talking to, she even changes her personality too." Just like Trump. "Hillary is the impersonation of a corrupt politician bought by Wall street." Just like Trump. "Hillary blatantly lies so much it's ridiculous, pretty much anything she says you can find her saying the exact opposite to someone else." Very much like Trump. "she's a disgusting criminal and should be in prison." Just like Trump. "but Hillary's actually done things that are illegal" Just like Trump who's currently being sued for massive fraud, among MANY other things. He was sued over 3,500 times in the last 30 years. 139 have been federal lawsuits. If you just want to echo people to have something cool to say, why don't you pick a smart one for a change?
