I remember when I was 10 (1995) and we didn't have cn but at my dad's house he did. I would always play sick at school just so I could have my dad pick me up from school and take me to his house so I can watch cn 😂 😂 😂. The memories.

That damn rap song at the beginning just unlocked a core memory from being nine years old watching this all on a tiny television in the downstairs den in our Baltimore home.

5 yr old me gets up at 3am to take a leak... scared of oj Simpson so I turn on tv and use it as light as I walk to bathroom...all I hear is...."LOVE WILL LEAD YOU BACK!!!"

4:38 "Hey kids, put on your hard hats." HOly shit, I was 4 years old when that aired.

Saturday June 17th, 1995.

The commercial after the far from home movie, it definitely painted a perspective of the adult life for me. Kind of funny seeing as that he was running out of whatever he had in a jar… Vices comes in all flavors. Hindsight is 20/20. That commercial and the late night black-and-white commercial really struck a chord with me as a real young impressionable child. Looking for that one commercial that says cards, and that we will play cartoons “forever and ever and ever until the end of Time!”

Looking back, it kinda seems like those Jolly Ranchers may have been the gateway to other things for some of us.....

I didnt start watching Cartoon Network until 1998 when I was 6, so this era feels a little foreign to me.

Cartoon was good when it first came on then went down hill by 2000. By 1997 they were airing the good cartoons after midnight.

I miss this version of the Cartoon Network. Specially when we had mystery ink every Sunday with all of the mystery cartoons. But now Cartoon Network is crap. And the older cartoons is now on boomerang, or the boomerang app. Thanks for this. I was still in school back in 1995. In fact, I was on summer break back in June of that year.
