JRC99 No kidding. The fact that even High School Jim himself refused to perform those shows is very telling. He knew that the times had already changed.
Yeah, I only knew one girl that actually found Ranger Smith attractive & she got hated for it. I never found Ranger Smith attractive myself, but everyone has weird crushes on someone nobody else thinks is good looking.🤷🏼♀️
I love that guy at the beginning in the crowd who uses up 500% of his life force to scream "YOGI BEEEEEEEEAR" at the top of his little lungs. He presumably died from collapsed lungs. God bless his soul
Idk what i would do i dont think i would be able to handle all the people that have passed away and people that have left my life people that i love. Knowing they are alive and i cant get to them.
I want to know what this band's future was like getting gigs. "So, what previous gigs have you done?" "Well, we did a metal/scream-o about a bear who steals picnic baskets..."
They originally aired on Cartoon Network before Boomerang even existed, back when they were still mostly showing Hanna-Barbera cartoons and Dexter's Lab was really the only modern show they had running at the time.
I'm not some overly nostalgic dweeb who spews garbage like "90's kids will remember IF U R NOT 90'S KID U WERE NEVER A CHILD" but I really don't like the direction they've gone in with Boomerang. Boomerang was where you could watch all the old cartoons, going as far back as the 60's, but also served as a sort of graveyard for old shows like teen titans. It had an old fashioned vibe to it. And it was a very good network. But now, the whole aesthetic and line up has changed to the point that it's indistinguishable from regular CN. Like, okay, people wanted to see shows from the early 2000's, I get it, but that was no reason to tear the entire channel apart and remake it as a pretty bland throwback channel.
I get super sad and nostalgia when I think of how Boomerang used to be. It was so good, and had literally all of my favorite shows, Johhny Bravo, Dexters Lab, Chowder, Tom and Jerry, Camp Lazlo. It was the best network on TV when it came to animated programing. Now it's cartoonnetwork 2.0
I want the old classic cartoons back on Boomerang such as Hanna-Barbara cartoons, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Tex Avery shows, Pink Panther, Popeye, Captain Planet, and (I think) Woody Woodpecker.
Captain Planet had this one marathon one day and it reeealllyyy annoying so yeah Boomerang messed that show up for me but every other show is good to me.
It’s unhealthy to obsess over the past, it’s more important to analyze your surroundings try to understand the nature of what’s to come and try to adapt to the world around you. On the other hand my blood is caffeinated and I just ate a whole bag of brownie brittle so who am I to argue what’s healthy. Save me a seat, I’m tired on being trapped in the 2010’s onward.
0:37 as a kid I genuinely loved all of the Cartoon Network shorts and groovies to the point of dancing to them after seeing them so often. I know for a FACT at this exact point, my uncoordinated self was just spazzing and spinning in circles, jumping, just going crazy
Best thing of my life!! I remember it would always be either the edd ed and eddy one or powerpuff girls. I could never catch this one. Few n far between. Glad for youtube now i can revisit and realize half the stuff i thought i imagined as a kid really happened
Finding out High School Jim isn’t a real band makes me so sad..... the producer said he got together with a few guys to make the song specifically for this video
@@SoupBrains whats cool about this song is it derives from the original lyrics of the yogi bear intro; He will sleep till noon but before it's dark, He'll have every picnic basket that's in Jellystone Park. Yogi has it better than a millionaire That's because he's smarter than the average bear.
Am I the only one that watched all these shorts and shows late at night since all during the day were the new ones, man I would stay up till 3-4 just watching these
explains about character from Yogi Bear show (BANG BANG BANG) talks about another Yogi Bear character (BANG BANG BANG) speaks of one last character (BANG BANG BANG)
Punk rock, alternative rock and hardcore punk in an good song of the best cartoon network of before (in this ocassion the section of groovies songs), most of an cartoon how the yogi bear (the original).
