i could see that. Simply name it 'nostalgia'. Itll be that foot-in-the-door for us that still liked the old. i mean. im 25. and get gloomy and a bit depressed looking back at how awesome CN was. Now? like. wtf is even happening? we have a controversy twice a year on something CN has done. before the CN Dark Age (now) the only controversy was why Ms. Bellum never had a face.
when cartoon network kicked ass. im 20 and now a days can't even come to terms with watching it no matter what. i don't hate it, it's my childhood . but, it's not what is once was. we have to learn to make way for the new generation.
The nostalgia... I would sell my soul so that the good cartoons and kids shows go back onto the air so this generation would know what a good cartoon should REALLY be
Back when Cartoon Network was worth watching. Samurai Jack Scooby Doo Camp Lazlo KND ED EDD N EDDY JOHNNY BRAVO FOSTERS HOME Grimm adventures Teen titans Ben 10 RIP
Red T me too so sad they ended and now we all have is adventure Time, amazing world of gumball, Steven universe, teen Titans go, and I guess that's it back then they had sooo much cartoons
Why doesn't cartoon network do promos like this anymore? Like now their promos are just clips ripped out of the show, they do a terrible job of promoting their series. Like I remember when Steven Universe came out, the commercials were just one image with some vague line like "discover stevens universe" or some shit, absolutely nothing to draw people in. It's not surprising the show didn't get any recognition what so ever until over a year after it started airing. It seems like before they made an effort to make their series seem interesting and attract people to watch.
Because these types of promos don't draw people in anymore. People want to know what shows are about quickly, and they don't have time to watch a minute-long promo. It's a shame, too, because their promos used to be really good.
Captain B. Z's VHS Archive actually it’s the newer younger generations or at least that’s what CN is pushing. They don’t care about what us older generations think
@@CaptainBZarre I mean this with my whole fiber of my very soul. If promos were like this, I would pay for cable tv again. And I would watch cartoon network ONLY for the promos
see you all in a decades time when we all come back here to revisit our childhood. these commercials theirselves are better than any current CN show to date period.
that last one made me laugh. Also, why doesnt CN run 'Classics'. remember when we where watching CN back in 2000~2013 they had Loonytunes or what every that sub-outlet was. they had classics in the weekend mornings, adult swim at night. magoola/toonami for a short time in mid section.
aw, i loved old cn,. i wish they could bring back some of the old cartoons (like billy & mandy, ed edd nd eddy etc). gosh, right now im watching the powerpuff girls on boomerang. dayum cn.
Omg lol. I must have been extremely young when I first watched these commercials. Cause the first commercial I never knew they was talking about money & buying popcorn. I remember being like what the heck are they bumping they gums about & why during the movie. Haha.
seeing all these comments from like 6 years ago straight up breaks my heart, this video was from 10 years ago life was better then man. But its ok repent of yalls sins real quick before the lord comes back Heavens gonna be amazing and were gonna experience some amazing things there be apart of it fr
This is hilarious! I miss old Cartoon Network!!😭😭 There should be a movie/miniseries about all of the Cartoon Network characters, both new and old, colliding!! That would be awesome.
Ha ha ha...I remember the first one but I never really remember Super Friends being aired, I watched Birdman and the Blue Falcon from the Dog Wonder show
Grew up with this stuff. I realize now that these promo's they showed in between shows were the glue that made CN feel like a home for me. Like all the individual cartoons somehow belonged to a family that I was also a part of. I spend so much time watching CN as a kid. In my time Dexter, Cow & Chicken, PPG and Johnny Bravo were the big names. Later Ed, Edd & Eddy and Courage would to the mix. At the same time we got all the classic HB cartoons like Flintstones, Jetsons but also Tom & Jerry. Later in the 90's they introduced DragonballZ in our country which probably kicked off anime fandom for a lot of people here. The channel helped me develop a taste for creative arts. CN shows taught me that art can and be accessible for the masses without becoming too simple. CN made me an anti elitist which I still am to this day. It is sad to see that streaming has all but killed linear TV so that a creative place like CN can no longer exist on linear TV.
