THIS right here is the reason why 2005 was THE best year for Cartoon Network in the 2000s. The fact that they were doing a concert thing while they were in the city era where you see all of our favorite cartoon characters hanging out in one location and having a good time was downright the most genius thing they came up with. I even think to this day, "Wow.... Mordacai, rigby, steven, finn, and everyone else missed out big time on this." I mean would you imagine if they were here? God I wish this era was still a thing!😣😫
2005 was the year I first got REALLY into CN...so glad it was the year for that to happen! 2005 in general had two of my favorite memories of my entire life...first getting into Cartoon Network and my earliest memories of celebrating Memorial Day weekend (partly thanks to CN)!
I’m Canadian and I somehow had CN In 2005. But yes, I kinda miss 2005 too. That was the year i went to an amusement park with my cousins in our 2001 Red Town and Country.
Same here man. I was 11 years old back in the summer of 2005, watching CN, bike riding outside, cookouts, playing NES, SNES, N64, SEGA Genesis, and PS1 (I did have a Nintendo GameCube as well the time, but it was broken due to me being a total clutz and accedently dropping it on the floor) but I still had fun with the other consoles I had. Great times. 😃
I was 15 that Summer. Passed 9th Grade Freshmen Semester 2 Social Studies/History Class with Mr. Cammack was hard, But I PASSED IT Prior to my 10th Grade Sophomore Year 2005-06.
I'm legit crying. This was my everything back in 2005. Was 10 when this started turned 11 in August in 2005. Remember watching this every day as a kid getting to spend the summer with my grandparents in Rochester ny living in the hood. This was so special kept me happy along with the. Wwe during that time. Now bening 26 going on 27 with 2 kids I can't wait to see what there fac summer will be
I was 4 when this happened so there's no way I'd remember watching it now, but with streaming taking over tv, there's unfortunately not a place for these kinds of bumpers anymore. I'm glad you uploaded these so they can be enjoyed by anyone from any era, cause it's worth remembering.
2005, what a year. Best Cartoon Network Summer Line ups, I got Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Smackdown vs Raw 2006 on PlayStation 2, season pass to Knott’s Berry Farm. Life was awesome for 9/10 yr old me.
My life is very serious now, I work in trauma medicine. I long for these days before I knew what humans were capable of. Let’s make sure kids have the same experience in the future.
Perfect to use during this summer, especially with Cartoon Network’s NEW scheduling for weekdays and weekends! It feels like Cartoon Network is coming back to life!
Seeing this brings back tons of memories, but I’m also reminded of what became of everyone, and the city they’re in, in that OK KO crossover that happened, and it kind of saddens me even more. Lol.
When I saw this I almost cried because it was nostalgic and memorable and also because Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Kids' WB, Toon Disney and to a lesser extent Disney Channel had very good shows and impressive promos and bumpers especially during summer 2005. But now Kids' WB and Toon Disney are gone, and right now Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel have shows that are trash and have ugly and boring promos and bumpers starting in 2014 through the present day. Man neither of those big 3 kids cable channels listen to their viewers now anymore and as of today their viewership is down and I don't watch that much tv anymore and if I do I only watch spongebob squarepants and a Spanish comedy and that's only it because in 2017 all networks have bad shows although like some shows are good but they are nowhere near the majority of good shows all networks(even local and kids cable networks like The WB, UPN, CBS, NBC, FOX, ABC, Kids' WB(which is the only broadcast kids block which is non cable that still had very good shows) and the big 4(Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Toon Disney and Disney Channel)) had because in the past networks listened to viewers what they want but nowadays they don't listen and that's why today they have bad shows. It's very sad that nostalgia is gone in 2017 but at least we could watch stuff that is considered memorable, nostalgic and/or classic online and on Netflix, RU-vid, and even Amazon Video and Hulu
Now I need a pool, a trampoline, and to replay through Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Cuz that's what I was doing during that summer, being babysat at grandma's (was 10 years old and had a 5-year old brother and 4-year old sister). Man, what a great summer that was. If only I didn't have adult responsibilities. I vote that we all take summer off from work and school and everything.
These are probably some of my favorite bumpers CN ever made. I used to have a promo DVD for the 2005 Summer season (I think I got in it a cereal box or something?) I doubt I still have it, but this brought back memories nonetheless.
I miss the old Ben10 and Ed edd n eddy but I never grow up with the old Teen Titans plus I remember when i was 10,CN did an like an Special to bring back old Cartoons and i have seen a few Ep of Teen titans and it was Amazing. got the DVD of The original Teen titans years ago.
I loved this bumper, when i was a kid i enjoyed my summer so much, and to come home and watch these bumpers and shows just added to the enjoyment. Huge nostalgia wave from this and the songs so catchy.
This was really cool seeing this on tv 5/6 yrs old i remember quite lot from this era than expected lol i remember the little eye flower logo like it was yesterday ❤
Man do I miss this era so bad. Not a care in the world back then. Just golden era CN, Toon Disney/Disney Channel, Kids WB, GameCube/PS1/PS2 games, comic books (both superhero and Calvin & Hobbes), pop punk/alt rock albums and hanging out with friends. Those were the days, man.
If you were born in the 90s and was a 2000s kid (like me), you knew that Cartoon Network had the best era for us back in the day and the best summer too.
This indeed is and always will be a part of my memory I always thought of this when I feel bored or if I'm feeling down this part of my memory always make me feels young and happy....Im glad to have found this here.....theres a song too a i remeber my best friend plank
It's a damn shame that the younger generation will never experience what we all witnessed as kids. Makes me feel bad but also glad I was born in the glory days of TV.
Man I remember when Foster's home for imaginary friends was in a premiere state for a few months and the one same episode played every time but I was HERE FOR IT!
I can literally remember staying at my friend David’s house and seeing all the promos I didn’t have cable at that time but I miss this 😅 I can’t believe people can still find these
Was 6 years old during this time. I remember having my Xbox and going out to play with the other kids in the cul de sac. Lived in Columbus Ohio back then. Good times man.
This makes me want to cry nbs RIP grandma I remember this exact summer on Cartoon Network that nostalgic theme song my grandma had cable when we didn’t have it at my house and I’d go to her house and watch Cartoon Network 24/7
3:22 that’s it. That’s the one I remember as a kid. The jingle is played many different times in the video, but this is the specific one, that I remember. Being outside in the woods, music playing, the camp vibes. That’s what I remember about being a kid. Sucks that kids these days. Want to spend time on social media and iPhones. But good for them I guess, but this was my childhood, and I cherish it dearly.
I swear there was an exclusive CN bumper for Mirmo which aired in international versions of Cartoon Network. This one was in the style of these, it had a closeup of the mugs used in the show and a jazzy version of one of their songs.
