Thank you Solomon for bringing this guy mr jimmy spire for réal this guy is talented by the time he started the pothole exhibition I was still at school but I could run to newspapers to read his content especially the mabaati scandal
I have always believed that the best way to discredit a bad argument is you make people hear or see it mockingly, jokingly with laughter. Dr. Spire understands this concept more than I do.
The nation has complacent leaders and corrupt civil servants. Lazy and without interest, there are small things each person can do! I am just imagining if members of parliament went a few months without pay and it would be geared towards some of these things until they start to get responsible.
My other take is if we can critic/ cite the issues then we can also give some sound solutions because from where I stand it seems as though people in those spaces have lost trajectory of even the bare minimum. They really have no immediate solutions, always thinking about the bigger money, foreign labour, etc. What happened to the days when prisoners were part of the workforce. They worked in construction under supervision as a reform but also as cheap labour for such projects. That way, the budget would be affordable ad this community service for those prisoners of petty crimes would pay off and they would be let go after they serve (tackling the issue of over population in prisons which is a story for another day). The Engineers draw the plans, and the prisoners follow instructions from the few professionals around. Not everything should be complicated but they make it that way because they have been at it for years now. I am almost certain that if a campaign was held for Ugandans to fundraise for their own roads area by area, they would do an excellent job. And if given permission to work on them, where we can hire equipment etc, we would do it. But that is not our job, we pay taxes to cater for that.
Mr.Solomon, I could tell it was hard for you to ask HARD questions to the prof.😅😅. What would you ask to such a people's favourite?. I only blame you for not changing the title of the episode to "Catching up with Prof. Spire " 😂
Mr Sserwanja, the question i waited for you to ask Mr Aspire that you didn't is how safe his job is considering he works with the Govt University. Many state officials take his exhibition insightful and it's stripping many Govt institutions naked.
Mr Solomon I wonder why government is still deducting our pay as you earn and in the morning I go through those potholes, remember the u squeeze sand in hands the more it penetrate from your hands, time is up
Respect for Dr. Spire. His activism has creeated much more impact than opposition politicians. Something happens when opposition politicians get into parliament. It's only during elections that they are vocal enough about the injustices of the Museveni gov't. Activism is the ultimate way to cause positive change!

I have read extensivelly Prof Spire's works and all i can say may God protect and bless this witty superbly intelligen t and iniquely humorous Young Man for us all🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏
Perhaps impunity in the civil service could be changed by changing civil service jobs from permanent and pensionable jobs to contract-based jobs where tenure is extended only on the basis of performance. Corruption-related indicators could be included in the key performance indicators to determine renewal of the employment contract. Uganda's corruption and impunity is not only among politicians but perhaps worse among munistry bureaucrats and front line civil servants #Tukooye!
Thank you so much Solomon for the show and bringing to us Prof Spire. He's really knowledgeable. The country needs more of you.... God protect you people 🙏
