You can find many good young singers in Kerala. They all owe a lot to the maestro. We all started listening to music because of him. His voice quality and sense of classical music are unmatched. It is a pity that some of his best songs did not reach non-Malayalis because of the language restrictions.

How he finishes... aararo.... aararo...in song - zindgi mahak jati hai......This is his specialty....which will be very difficult to imitate by any singer. His simply humming....is so sweet for lullaby. हूँ हूँ हूँ... हूँहूँहूँ...कितना मीठा लगता है। हर गाना एक विशेष शहद में लिपटा हुआ लगता है। प्रकृति के कण कण में संगीत येसुदास जी का एक ऐसा गाना है जिसे सुनकर कोई सच्चा संगीत प्रेमी प्रकृति में ही खो जाएगा। मेरी नज़र में ये गाना किसी भी गायक के लिए गा पाना एक सपने के बराबर होगा। ....ओह..... वह अप्रतिम मधुरता...जो मैंने अब तक किसी कंठ से नहीं सुनी। साक्षात सरस्वती विराजमान हैं उनके कंठ में तभी तो वो हमेशा श्वेत वस्त्र धारण करते हैं। संगीत सीखने वालों को सबसे पहले येसुदास को सुनना चाहिए, और अगर वो उनके गाये गानों की शास्त्रीय बारीकियां 25 प्रतिशत भी समझ गए तो भी वे दूसरे अन्य के मुकाबले कहीं अधिक ऊँचाई प्राप्त कर सकेंगे। ये मेरा येसुदास को 35 सालों से सुनने के बाद का निष्कर्ष है। सबसे ज्यादा बार राष्ट्रीय पुरुस्कार किसी को ऐसे ही नहीं मिल जाता। ये रिकॉर्ड उनके नाम पर ही है। पिछली बार ये पुरुस्कार उन्हें 78 साल की उम्र में 2018 में मिला था। जबकि पहला 1967 में! है ना कमाल।😀 🙏🌷🙏🌷🙏🌷🙏🌷🙏🌷🙏

I have been listening the song of legendary singer Yesu Das since my childhood from All India Radio. Really he is a great singer. All songs of Yesu Das is memorable forever. I salute the great singer.

mesmerizing voice, ...maana ho tum, tirchi nazar, theekhi ada.... mind blowing, Not many will know that he is a catholic by religion n in one of the most prominent temple of Lord Aiyyappa in Kerala, every day the temple doors close with the shlokas "Harivarasanam" rendered in Yesudasji's voice - it has remained so for over 40 years and continues till date, How beautiful!

Yesudas ji is my first favourite singer. He has a buttery voice. His voice is very beautiful. It is a gift of nature that they have received. None another voice will be like Yesudas ji .

Congrats. It is very difficult to create the impact Yesudas Ji did with his heavenly singing. If anyone can match 50% of what he sang, I'd say he is a great singer.
