I was a teenager when I first heard the sonic holography. I had to save for a year to buy my first carver receiver and got the c-9 sonic hologram generator to go with it. I hooked it up to a pair of Polk Audio monitor 10's and was very happy. The early 80's was a golden time for Polk Audio and Carver.

I got one..........nice....very nice.......I have a lot of respect for Mr. Carver. I also have the Sliver 7t Monoblock Amps.

I bought a Carver C4000 in 1986. Along with it, I bought a Carver TX-11A tuner and M1.5t magnetic-field amplifier. I still have them. They still play wonderfully. High quality. Built like tanks. Bob Carver was a genius. They were technologically ahead of their time. Friends marvel at their sound even today. That's why they're so collectible. If you find one, buy it.
