Carving Foam - Sculpting Prickly Pear Cactus For A Ghost Town 

hollywoodhaunte... Carved & Sculpted Foam Cactus Prop: The Prickly Pear For Haunted Ghost Town. In this live performance Jeana takes you through all the steps to carve and create this Styrofoam prickly pear cactus prop for this years Halloween theme at our home called Grave Rock Gulch. This spooky glowing prickly pear will live in our old haunted and abandoned western mining ghost town Halloween display. She sculpts foam patties and uses toothpicks & BBQ skewers for cactus needles. The base is a large piece of foam painted brown to look like the ground which is glued to a square sheet of plywood to add some weight preventing it from tipping over. This foam prop is painted with wildfire glow in the dark paint and will have a couple of black lights near by.
