Today we head out to Casa Marina Beach & Reef Resort in Sosua, Dominican Republic (Just outside of Puerto Plata). At the end of the video I tour and review the resort. This is also my first attempt at making a "VLOG" I want to start making more videos like this as its a nice way to document my adventures and give the viewers context. Instead of only shooting B-Roll.

From SW Ontario here. Been to this place twice, personally I think it’s a lot better when you go in a bigger group. We had a lot of fun going out on the strip and the public beach. Me and the boys always enjoyed the open bar. Anyways, I think you captured the spot perfectly, I keep coming to this video because it reminds me of the times we went. From the Toronto airport to Casa Marina entrance lol. Your review is fair though for sure, I agree with it all haha. Nice vacation spot but nothing crazy. Keep up the great videos, brother.

Thanks man appreciate it! Definitely, I tried to keep this video “family friendly” but lots of fun was had at night ;) Solid resort for the price point and if I went with a bigger crew definitely would have had more fun! I’ll keep the videos flowing, love making them 🙏

Can you please tell me if any of the pools in the select section have walk in steps into the pools, I use a wheelchair. Thanks

My apologies! Just seeing this, honestly I can’t remember if it does. Personally didn’t use the pools much. From what I recall it didn’t seem to wheelchair friendly, lots of steps around and uneven ground. But don’t quote me on that can’t remember 100%! All the best!

is there any place to get snacks like burgers and fries etc during the day when the buffet is closed or is the buffet always open

Can’t remember exactly but there’s definitely cross over times throughout the day when there’s nothing to eat. At night they have some snack bars and things open though.
