Hi, can you give me chocolate in your pocket, manly? I'm so hungry and I can't buy it at store anymore since pandemic 🥺 Hehehe just kidding with you :D
Manly, I was suprised when this shadow was that STUPID handsome guy and I was shouted because in the beginning of the game I named it Mephisto and I was assumed that was just the usual VN faceless avatar because In all visual novel games or other genres I always named with Mephisto thing or only Mephisto (I'm a fan of Mephisto from Animamundi and I love Goethe's Faust)
Jade force Grete to kill her own brother: " i was the main villain " Grete killing her brother and cooked him: " No i was the main villain" Protagonist kill Grete, eat her brother and then kill James: "Haha hello there"
and 1 out of those 2 is a sociopathic evil mastermind. Brucie: *glares sideways towards Jade* Jade: *looks back with a knowing smirk on her face* James: *sidling towards the door*
Um, kinda late, but in a few languages (ex. Swedish) the story of "hansel and gretel" is actually called "hans and greta (or sometimes grete)". Im not really sure though, i only speak swedish :/
@@ReigoVassal Oh... (I'm pretty sure it wasn't that but let's play along~) Well I'll say that it was cooked on a hot steamy... Oven. It was cooked on an oven-
By the end of Jade's "urban legend", the windows were suddenly covered by the curtains. That means.. Jade yet again had planned for another murder. Quite the mastermind.. and a really twisted fetish.
As someone that already knew how the novel ended, I kept grinning every time Manly drew attention to the lack of a name for the Handsome Guy. Poor James! If only he had better friends.
Personally, im kinda dissapointed at it, not that i hate, just kinda dissapointed. At first i thought it was gonna be one of those mystery visual novel games where theres like a bit of puzzles, hints, gathering info, etc mixed with urban legends elements and solving the mysteries of those urban legends. Like Hotel Dusk or Last Window or Zero Escape or Death Mark 1, Death Mark 2, mysterious forums and 7 rumors, etc. Ya know cuz the game's called "CASE" Edit: also some of the twist didnt make any sense and came out of nowhere
"Your sense of taste is really something! A guy and a girl, identical in every way and you choose the guy?! What did he have that I didn't, huh?! SAY SOMETHING!" *"HANS REMEMBERED MY NAME!!"*
No, she's definitely inspired by Nagito. Even her color design in the same as him. Like it's a hardcore simplified copy. Edit: I would like to mention there's a difference in their intention, like she seems more interested in that snap in people's minds, to the point that she seems very interest in dying in that situation- she likes anger and despair. Nagito would die for hope and good things I guess. He's got it twisted but my man just wanna see some hope- XD They do have the same color scheme and reaction tho. My point still stands- XD
The human jaw is strong enough to bite through bone, but our brain subconsciously weakens it so that we don't accidentally break our fingers when we put the chicken nugget in edit: i did not expect my first comment that got over 1k likes would be over biting through your finger. god dang
He wouldn't just have to bite through bone, though. Bone is hard, but it isn't near as resilient as connective tissues. Even a carnivore would likely struggle to just bite someone's head off. Edit: typo
@Jaime Monzon Bautista I dont thinknthat experiment is very intelligently designed. "Like a carrot" does not imply that fingers have the same durability as one, but that the force able to be generated by a human's bite force could easily severe a finger.
I mean, is it really wrong? Human meat is just as healthy as any kind of meat. I think we can solve world hunger if we make a market out of selling cooked african children to Africa Edit: Yeah it's an nostalgic toxic edgy dark joke. I would say too dark if Africa was lacking food (fun fact, they aren't, look it up. I mean they are starving but for other reasons)
I love that the very final twist is one you can figure out yourself- in the opening, they show all the players (including Hans and Greta and the 'handsome guy', who we supposedly haven't met yet) so it's natural to assume that the third college student (the 'handsome guy') could be the player character (since the player character's sprite looks similar). After that, the fact that they don't use 'handsome guy''s name, the player character's knowledge of Hans and Grete, and that Jade says "the handsome guy right here" at 50:24 point to the fact that the player character is actually the Cannibal Boy- and also that Jade knew it all along, and was purposely trying to set him up to kill and eat James- even inviting them to her room and starting up the conversation about Cannibal Boy instead of studying. Fantastic storytelling imo.
When Handsome boy and Hans were in the park and they mentioned Cannibal Boy, I was like, "Wait. Cannibal Boy already exists? WTH?" I knew something was up.
*Spoilers* Yes, the game plays on the tropes a little. Due to the fact the story already exists before the events happen it means the original was just in fact a myth that transformed a lot. The other tell is when Hans mentions some lines similar to the original story, he corrects himself and says oh you know, the demons of his past and stuff implying Hans and his sister were completely normal up till the events of the game. And the actual cannibal boy has no relation to the original myth nor same motivations and simply just likes eating people. That's already after the first bait and switch where it mocks horror writers for trying to "sex up" a story.
@@ManlyBadassHero Well, we don't really know if the Handsome Guy was already canniballistic before he ate the sister, but it makes sense since he didn't seem to recognize the meat (or at least pretended not to), and also when he wonders if her flesh Is as good as her brother's, it makes it seem like he isn't totally used to the taste yet.
@@petro3366 I think Handsome Guy could be pretending not to know the type of meat he it eating if he wanted to bait Grete, in a "I want to hear you admit out loud what you did to get this" way.
@@petro3366 True, and when the Handsome Guy found out he was eating his lover, Jade mentioned that he "shivered" and put the fork down. So that could be an indicator that the Handsome Guy wasn't always into eating people. Although when the Handsome Guy finally came clean in Jade's room (53:03) and said that whole speech about how people can go and eat chickens, but eating dogs was wrong, it was the same reasoning he used when him and Hans first met (18:59).
I really wonder if Handsome Guy felt sad over Hans’s death, if at all. Or was the guy just ecstatic in the end to eat his lover’s flesh along with his twin’s? Would’ve preferred a little bit of emotional attachment there, but I’m not complaining, the story was good.
I feel like he wasn't really emotionally attached but he definitely preferred Hans. When Handsome Guy (HG) confronted Grete and all she had to say was that "there were two twins that were exactly the same and you went ahead and picked the boy one instead of me", HG's response was: "Do you really think you're both completely identical aside from sex?" I think he was making a dig at Grete's personality, implying that he genuinely liked Hans better because he was good and kind and always thinking about his sister, if a little unhinged, whereas Grete had been said to use emotional manipulation against her brother to keep him dependent on her and was insecure and kept it all inside yet expected people to know what she was going through when they couldn't have. So, in hindsight, I think HG really *did* like Hans, just not enough to mourn his death or care about him too much. He simply preferred him over his sister.
He puts the fork down once he realises who he's eating. Since it obviously wasn't out of general compunction over eating human flesh, I assume it was horror over the death of his boyfriend.
The moment we started calling the handsome guy "handsome guy" I knew they were gonna pull something like that. The good ol' [we dont give a name to the bad guy cuz we want to put YOUR name (or your friends')] thing.
(Spoilers) The whole time I was looking at Manly’s sprite and thinking ‘heh, maybe he’s the handsome guy all along’ but I thought I was wrong until the end lol. “You thought Hans was the Cannibal Boy, but it was me, THAT UNNAMED HANDSOME GUY!”
Yeah, it's pretty obvious due to the silhouette. Also because Jade calls the guy "the handsome guy" all the time, which means that it's someone whose name cannot be integrated into the story. Honestly it would have been a bigger twist if it hadn't been him
I’m way worse. My mind got to the point of comparing the sprites of the protagonist and the handsome guy, and I got Jade’s sprite mixed up with the handsome guy’s sprite and said, “Oh. Oh well.”
I wonder if Jade is like his "keeper". Jade tells the story to someone and later that person gets eaten by the Cannibal Boy. Maybe "Brucy" is the same person since the handsome guy was talking about exorcising a "spirit" earlier maybe that has something to do with the other story that influences his becoming the Cannibal Boy.
*Spoiler* Jade calls Brucie in the sequel/first game "handsome guy" also but they're full grown adults by that game so that could explain why Brucie looks a bit different and Jade's blackmail could be how she survives.
@@ManlyBadassHero but wait wouldn't that make Hans also a cannibal cuz he said he doesn't eat regular meat. So doesn't that make him a cannibal as well or probably a copycat cannibal boy? Because he did say such things as filling anyone who hurt his sister and eating their fleshplus halfway through the story I had a feeling that our main character was the same guy but I had no idea he was the original first split second until it started lining up
@@ManlyBadassHero unless Hans is a sexual deviant. but I doubt it considering he goes out with friends a lot or at least he goes out and doesn't stay for his sister's cooking so that means that he could have also been intrigued by this legend and evil spirits and probably thought he was being some sort of weird little trap version of the doomslayer. That eats meat versus you manly the actual cannibal Shia LaBeouf so what we got here is Virgin cannibal probably eats only people that upsets him or his sister mainly a social outcast that looks up to upperclassmen. Versus the Chad cannibal basically a pretty boy with no past always mysterious tries to act normal to blend in pretends to be vegan but is actually Hannibal lecter. Oh yeah his sister exists yeah she was just there but hey at least he got seconds
I also thought something similar, that jade kinda "designates" the Cannibal Boy's target by telling it a story, and then the boy strikes the victim later. Also, just as Manly said, she may have some way of blackmailing him so she doesn't die, but i have a second theory in which she is a cannibal as well, and the twins, and the only actually normal person in the whole story is poor James.
@@petro3366 well that's the thing I'm not too sure if it's both of the twins but I'm sure that the brother was already fucked up at the beginning and probably hearing of the story of the cannibal boy turned him towards cannibalism.while his sister was just more of somebody who needed positive reinforcement in her life just like her brother she was very attached to the idea of people who were interested in her kind of like a little bit of a cry for help as well as a shoulder to cry on. She was no killer her brother on the other hand is much to be desired given that he shares somewhere the same mindset as manly AKA Shia LaBeouf. And he claims he's not vegan he just eats different meat so it's possible that either one cannibal boy is just an idea and that there is no one true cannibal boy or bee cannibal boys actually an evil spirit and chooses to infect people with his madness through making tragic situations worse like the father if he was truly just a bastard. Or was he only feeling these feelings because he was infected by an evil spirit I choose to believe that it could be one or the other but at the end of the day I might as well as assume that it was just the father being a bastard and his son was just more or less curious about quite an urban tale flowing around. Now whether or not if it's the idea or an evil spirit or both is up for debate but considering they don't touch on it very much it may not even be relevant. But considering that this is a self-contained story and a much bigger story about actual evil spirits I doubt it
*Spoilers* JAMMMMMESSSS NOOOOOO, in the end there was only one sane person in that room, James..who just wanted to study for his goddamn finals with a new friend group..and also he told the story in the first place to avoid being eaten..
This novel really felt like, you thought you could figure the story out before it tells you, and even if your predictions were correct, you’d be caught off guard by the bigger twists. I found this a good mystery story
Dude just realized it when at the end it say that Jade told the story probably to "Blackmail" him. The culprit is: MANLY a.k.a Handsome boy a.k.a Cannibal Boy *The name should have given it away! *
gotta love how they added the detail of leaving the severed heads behind just for the sake of having an excuse for the cannibal boy not being dead from kuru also like their description of the meat's flavor aligns perfectly with actual cannibal interviews like these writers did _research_ damn
Jade certainly is an interesting character. She's certainly a messed up one. I wonder if she is a telepath. I honestly could see that this handsome boy was the character you named. But I honestly didnt make him up to be the real actual cannibal boy. Though there was foreshadowing of it. I liked the creepy story
Everyone involved in that story needs therapy. Perhaps that was why they were studying psychology. But just to further drive the point, the handsome guy is the main character, to prove that everyone can be "possessed by evil spirits". Huh, I like the way the story was thought out.
Since she's telepathic and a psychic, I reckon she just likes to amp up negative feelings and feed on them. Like an emotional vampire. They mentioned vampires feeding on you bit by bit, so in sense, Jade's an emotional vampire. Just my theory.
[Spoilers] I did not expect this game to be as clever as it was. There are so many twists, but they all feel pretty well foreshadowed. The one that stood out to me was the line about Handsome Guy shivering. Somebody pointed out that meant he was disgusted and this is how he got started on cannibalism, but in retrospect, I think it's a beautiful bait and switch. Right at the end of the game, the MC mentions two things: having an "annual limit" for how many people he eats, and how troublesome it is for people to know one of his favorite foods. It's similar to how a lifelong junk food addict might talk about cutting back on something that's having negative consequences. It would be a little strange if he had only started during the events of the story a year ago. Furthermore, Handsome Guy's sprite is at the most delighted at two points: prior to attacking Grete and James, and when Hans evasiveness about what kind of meat he was going to get. The second one initially gets the excuse that Handsome Guy interpreted it as innuendo, and that's why he made out with Hans about it... but Jade drops the comment during her storytelling how sex and eating are so often linked in language. More than that, her examples are comparing the human body to food. She even comments during her story how questionable it is to discuss meat while being intimate with your partner. Hmm... Now, that leaves the question: if somebody isn't shivering from fear, disgust, or cold, what else could have somebody shuddering? 🤔
After watching, this is my theory: The hints are from the first story. Grete killed her father because she fought back, just like how she bullies everyone who tries to bully Hans. She chopped him up and served him as “steak” to have Hans grow up healthy. Her steak is always served bloody to make sure nobody suspects how it tastes different from other steaks. Nobody suspected anything so nobody questioned where the meat came from. Hans grew used to eating the meat because she’d get mad if he didn’t appreciate what he did for her. On those days she wouldn’t feed him, which led him to not solely depend on her for eating when he goes out, in which case he’d probably avoid meat. Hans takes a more neutral stance in the debate class because he understands both sides. He’s not a killer but he is the eater, the one who makes sure nothing goes to waste and subsequently hides the evidence. Therefore, his “sexual” comment gains more context, as he’s more worried for Handsome Guy since his sister might chop him up, and he’d be the one who’d have to eat him. Handsome Guy was the first person who asked what meat it was, not how it was cooked, so she assumed he didn’t care about her even further. That’s why it took her by surprise when he asked her the “right” question, because he knows what it tastes like, but this one tasted especially good because she was trained for it.
I mean, if we can have a guy with the name ManlyBadassHero, we can have a guy with the name HandsomeGuy. Edit: Welp, turns out I was more on point than I imagined.
I found it interesting how Manly notice that Hans was the one HG like from “Hans was out with a friend” but not HG true identity from “You, Me and HG here”- I noticed that one immediately-
Well, there is that concept, however, if you think about it, the urban legend is very specific that you are required to tell "someone that doesn't already know the story". Since Jade and the player were part of the story (so they already knew about it) James failed because he didn't tell someone that "didn't already know" the story, and the "canniable boy came for him". Exactly as the legend had clearly stated.
50:53 I just realized the screen is like that because is giving Jade and James the "angry" Stare (after realizing Jade is into his secret). A Cannibal, A Mind Reader and A Nerd get in a room do you wonder who survive?
So basically, James was set up because Jade clearly instigated the whole situation as if she wanted to see it happen in front of her eyes. That’s so sick... at first, my suspicions was that Jade is a human manifestation of one of the “evil spirits” because of the way she was acting when she was telling her side of the story, as if she was enticing “the handsome man” to finally show his true colors as well as Grete and Hans setting their own fate; that also proves why she comes off as a telepath if she’s actually an “evil spirit.” Like in the story, she really wanted Grete to die but with a twist, her brother too so she used Grete’s emotions to her advantage to stage all of those events, especially the one where her and Grete so happen to coincidentally stop at the park to talk then all of a sudden, stumble across Hans and the guy on their date, eavesdropping on what was talked about to purposefully trigger Grete and so forth. And then at the end, why James had to be the first victim? If Jade knew all along that the main character was the cannibal boy, why she didn’t do anything to stop him? Why didn’t she warn James right away so they could jump the guy and kill him? Most importantly, jumping back into the story, Jade said that her and “the handsome guy” went to the movies together, but she never talked about what all happened between the two while they were there. Could it be the moment where Jade’s influence corrupted the guy, thus explaining why he attacked James right away after Jade finished telling the story??? How come the cannibal boy did not try to kill Jade to shut her up before exposing him??? In conclusion, Jade is not human. She is one of those “evil spirits” disguised as a college student girl. That’s my theory. Like they took classes together, was in a student group together, everything. But not once, she ratted him out in a sense to avenge Grete and Hans as well as save James from his fate. So yeah, lol that’s all I conjured up in my head as I watched this video.
Not quite, I believe that Jade should be diagnosed with "Sociopathy", unlike psychopathy, sociopathy is more prone to actions like that. My deduction fits the storyline as high-end sociopaths and psychopaths are very adept at reading emotions and predicting reactions. However, psychopaths tend to be more or less emotionless, they do what is useful to them and nothing more, not like Jade who toyed around with Grete without reason. This is why she is classified as "Sociopath" as she is capable of deriving amusement from ruining other lives. Also, there is no evidence in this video that the cannibal did consume Jade. Nor is there evidence that the cannibal did not consume Jade. However, due to the logical thought-processing Jade has demonstrated so far, I believe she has a plan to survive.
@@tazerzx9591 it’s just a theory, but nice observation. Also, I didn’t mention anything about Jade getting consumed by the cannibal. I said that she could be a manifestation of an evil spirit disguised as a human being, and I was just wondering why the handsome guy didn’t do anything while she was telling the whole story about him to avoid revealing his identity at the end. Another thing, I never said whether Jade was a sociopath or a psychopath either, but you make a valid point about that. I still can’t tell the difference between the two. They both come off similar enough to where they could pass as one in the same.
@@KennethRCox Ah, I read: "Could it be the moment where Jade’s influence corrupted the guy, thus explaining why he attacked James right away after Jade finished telling the story???" and misunderstood.
I mean, we have no actual confirmation that Hans killed anyone either. We only have the implication(aka. not even sure) that the siblings are cooking people, but we are never actually told where they get their meat.
@@lpfan4491 if their names are any indication, they are very similar sounding to Hansel and Gretel from the story where the witch they meet lures in and cooks people after first feeding them.
Sucks to be James bruh And I thought of Grete being the killer "boy" after the doppelganger story paired with the "friend" thingy haha. The handsome boy was super sus. From sprites, beliefs and the protag thoughts. 😔 that dude will have food poisoning for sure
To be honest Greta should have poison the food if she was able to murder her own brother over this guy then she should have took it a step further as a yandere and just poisoned the food. Then she would have put that wild dog down and we wouldn't have much of a story or a cannibal boy at all considering that he would be dead
Poor James, he could have fought back tho, given none of the characters seem particularly muscular and the cannibal boy seems to be a physically normal human, and maybe tried to escape and look for help, but i guess the witers killed him to give this disturbing/creepy aura at the end, with the last thing that was shown being his horrified face as the MC went for the kill.
@@petro3366 well James kind of was warned that he wasn't going to make it to finish his paper about the cannibal boy given that he was given a nice close and personal interview with his neck being the microphone. But it seemed like I don't know James might have been somewhat physically fit though every character comes off as very effeminate and androgynous like Jade and the twins specifically and James the only one that doesn't is the MC. But I do have a feeling that Jade isn't quite done picking out victims for actual cannibal Shia LaBeouf to start eating who knows maybe he might even bump into that kid from where his mother tried to eat him and was feeding all of his siblings to each other including him.
If by food poisoning you mean from eating human flesh I believe I’ve read somewhere that as long as you avoid the brain and you thoroughly cook the meat that you won’t mess up ur brain and stuff.
25:20 You go on several dates and then tell her you just wanne be friends? I may have never been in a relationship but that seems like a confusing move for all parties involved
It often takes a few dates to get a feel for someone and if you are into them or not. Also, he apologized for not understanding his feelings sooner about her brother (I think he was deciding who he wanted to eat more)
To him eating is a sex thing, it would make sense why he wanted to eat the one he like the most (aka, Hans). But Grete just presented herself to him, like a duck begging to be eaten. He may not prefer duck over chicken, but he would still eat it.
When he said “it was someone close to you” I automatically thought of Hans because if you look back is says “Hans suggested it” so he obviously have seen it
_Who is the real monster?_ *spoilers* Jade really is the sick twist of the story enjoying suffering & humiliation, egging on Grete's instability to almost bully her into murdering Hans. The irony of naming them Hansel & Gretel wasn't lost on me either. Handsome Boy was a monster not because of his cannibalism, well not only that. He apparently just philosophized his way into enjoying humans. I'm sure this is a dig at how carnivores enjoy their meat - do we really not care that pigs are killed for our bacon? No, I felt he was a monster for dating within a family. I think that's pretty morally bankrupt thing to do bc you are setting up competitiveness & jealousy within siblings. It also demonstrated his lack of compassion for people & so it's easy to see why he would eat them without batting an eye. This was a familiar story twist, done in a very *ANIME* way. I think the beginning has some pacing issues, but it picked up later! Bon appetite to my fellow carnivores!
@@mslightbulb I think you mean _omnivores._ But eh, spelling. And while humans may indeed be capable of being omnivores, I celebrate being a carnivore, not a pescatarian, vegetarian, or vegan. And the word carnivore has actual relevance to this game vs omnivore because of the specific choice of Handsome Boy's "food" .

@@wildfire9280 Some of us are omnivores, others as I mentioned are not. And yes it is a choice, just as Handsome Boy demonstrated his even more specific choice - which I believe is kinda sorta close to the no-prefix type. :D
@@LivPC yeah that's why I said in my second comment it could be the fact that he's a sexual deviant but I don't think that's fully the case as for soy meat I've never heard of that but that sounds pretty vegan it could be the fact that like I said he was leaning towards being a cannibal himself considering that I don't think his sister has ever once gotten him to really eat regular food in front of her. Given that she seems to only cook steak every night for her friend and not really her brother assuming that she could have probably been cooking other things while he was a cannibal on the side. It seems like the brother and the sister are very multi-layered but we only know more about the sister than we do the brother so he could have been influenced somewhere between the time he was being abused and going to school. Where he kind of believed in this idea of the cannibal boynow it's a complete high possibility that he is just a copycat or the cannibal boy is either an evil spirit or just an idea but Hans really strikes me as very curious given that he doesn't have much development hell we even know more about the handsome boy than we do Hans.
Fun fact: The bite strength of an average human is the equivalent of 80 bowling balls falling! ..How do I know that? I... Watched something on Da Vinci Learning. * indecipherable mumbling *

@@JohnSmith-op3qj Possibly, I have no idea if I remember correctly- But it's most likely I mean, who in the world chews their food aggressively? ... Oh wait.
Will be honest, looked at sprites in the "anime intro" and compared "the handome man" with the person we play as, and completely forgot that I did that at the end of the video
See, this is how you do a twist in a story! As soon as I saw "Does she want to blackmail me?" I pieced it together. I love that they slip in little details that just build as the story goes further, especially the development of Jade's character.
if the head part is true then he probably just leaves them since eating another person's brain will absolutely destroy your health. Damn he just wants gourmet
I think you'd still get prion disease and jaundice regardless, since even if you don't eat a person's brain, you can still consume the prions. I may be wrong, tho.
@@Phoebe5448 The distribution matters, where the original non-prion version of the protein existed in the body, is where the prion will. There can be prions elsewhere, but the most common place with the highest density has historically been the brain. And as prions make prions, a higher density area, such as the brain happened to be, will perpetuate itself, and thus increase the density in that region, if it is able to pass into another organism.
Spoilers just watch the video. This was fucking wild from starr to finish! You have Jade who idk maybe able to hear people thoughts. You play as the actual fucking killer. So manly right it was hybrid of 2 story the last one being true. Jade pushes Grete because she has a fucking fetish for people finally snapping. The handsome guy is the player. Who eats people he is the cannibal boy. All of this wraped up in Hans and Grete. Grete thinking she was doing something special. Killed her bother Hans over some dude. Because cannibal boy was fucking him. Grete then gets eaten and the two twins go missing. So jade set all this up to make it so she sees the player have too kill and eat James. Poor James I fucking loved his character. And it turns out that he only allowed a certain people to know who he is. Clearly Jade knew from the start. But James was just a poor vicitm. Also that whole fucking time the handsome boy was asking what type of meat is he eating. He knew it was human because hes been eating human the whole time. Im losing my mind at how good this was set up! Also theory Jade and Brucie are the same from the other game. Maybe the main boy was fine until he exorcise a demon of cannibalism in and caught the bug. Or maybe he learn from his exercising humans are no different than. Jade been their from the start as the a medium that can talk to spirits. So Brucie has no reason to kill her. As long as she fills his needs. Or maybe she has caught a bug where she gets super horny for people becoming crazy. So they are cycling their fetish between eachother. Jade being a medium would explain why she can hear people's thoughts.
I actually thought that we were the handsome guy from the beginning, only because of how similar the sprites were... Damn Still, it was a really cool story! I didn't expect much.. honestly, I thought it was going to be some survival game, or a yandere cannibal game. I like how there was no 'good guy' in the story, really. Maybe besides Hans. Just my type of story! I liked the characters' faulted logic, but also their thoughts and beliefs. And the creepiness. Jade's character was really interesting. Really looking forward to the following games! This just made my day, which was stressful so far..
Right? I mean, their sprite silhouettes are exactly the same. Which I suppose could happen in games that have a lot of similar-looking characters, but this one has very distinct ones
I’m guessing the real reason he leaves only the heads is to avoid contracting Kuru, which is caused by eating a brain infected with it or possibly some other prion based disease. If that is the case, nice touch developers.
Nah, turns out my boy James, behind that shirt and supposed nerdy nature is a master in Brazilian Ju Jitsu built of very lean muscle, and these guys are scraggly armed teens, the only actual murderer of the group having murdered two smaller people likely weaker then himself. They barely escape with their bodies intact, which is why in the sequel they’re one the street, because my man James is still hunting them down to this day and they can’t settle in one area, they’re nomads for the rest of their life because behind every corner could be James.
12:54 - *James:* "He may not actually exist, or he might really come and eat Manly tonight." *Manly, unphased and monotone:* Damn. --- These psychology majors are kinda edgy, wow. And Jade is like ... such a bitch. And maybe a little crazy. --- I kind of suspected that maybe your player character might've been the Handsome Guy, just because I found it odd that they never said HG's name throughout the story, despite Jade having been friends with him. Aside from that, this was a *weird* story. I liked the bait-and-switch, and how the previous origin stories kind of did tie into the true story, but otherwise the characters were just so ... twisted and weird.
fun fact: you can be able to bite off your own finger cuz you have enough bite force to do it but your body doesnt allow you to do it, so yes, it is possible that the boy was able to bite off the peoples bodies
"I'm still weirded out that we Just call him Handsome Guy" ~ A guy called Manly PS: i know, or at least i imagine that Manly's real name isn't actually Manly, but i just can't help imagining his in game character, who actually has that as his name, saying those words and sounding ironic and funny as hell.
Me: *clicks on video that's literally titled "cannibal boy"* youtube: "Warning, this video has potentially disturbing content, are you sure you want to continue?" lmao, gotta love all those silly warning things that have come up over the past few years XD Also, man, this game really activates the conspiracy theorist in me. Already starts with "Part 1: The Cannibal Boy" but for some reason the "C" is red, while all the other letters are white. This means it must be important. It shows up at the start of the game, also in connection with "Part 1" which means that there are two hints simultaneously pointing towards 1 and C being in some way related, which means that this is a deception and those two things are actually not related at all. Since there is no way to figure out what is real this early into the video, the only option is to exclude all the things that are not real. The first word that comes to mind when asked about letters with "C" is usually "Clown" so clowns are most likely not involved at all. Actually, it can't be any word that starts with "C" because that would be a direct relation between C and 1. Assuming that this is a simple puzzle and not too complex, this means that the real next clue is a word that ends with C. Acmic. Acmic means highest point. The tallest mountain from base to summit is Mauna Kea, measuring at roughly 33 thousand ft. 33. 1000 = 1x10^3. The third word in alphabetic order is Abasia. Abasia is the inability to walk due to a limitation or absence of muscular coordination. Absence of muscular coordination. Absence. C is the 6th letter in the word "absence". C = 6. If C = 6, that means that A = 3. The third word, in an alphabetical list of words, is "account". The word "account" contains two 'C's. We're getting closer. Account. Banking account. Banking. Financial crisis. 2007. On June 8th, 2007, the Space Shuttle Atlantis successfully launched on mission STS-117. 117. The spiritual meaning of the number 117 is that their good work will make you successful. Who or what is being successful here? Does it mean that we are being manipulated successfully? Most certainly. June 8th. Atlantis. Atlantis was first mentioned by Plato in the 4th century before Christ. 4th Century. 4. June 8th. 8. On the 4th of August in 1892. Abby and Andrew Borden were murdered. This is a strong clue, because it involves murder, just like this game, but since there is no other clue pointing towards murder, it is most certainly the right path. Abby and Andrew both start with the letter A. Borden starts with the letter B. A is the first letter in the alphabet, B is the second letter 1 + 2 = 3. A triangle has 3 sides. But there's more to this. Since Abby and Andrew both start with the letter A, we have effectively two A's, meaning that if we calculate 1 + 2, we have only accounted for one of them. The second A is left. It is representing 1. There is 1 eye in the illuminati symbol. The illuminati symbol is a triangle. Therefore I can conclude that the devs of this game are illuminati confirmed.
