Introduction:
Gas Absorption is one of the very first Mass Transfer Unit Operations studied in early process engineering. It is very important in several Separation Processes, as it is used extensively in the Chemical industry.

What about the solvant ? the component A is diffusing in B, but B is not the solvant, it's another component, I simply don't get it ! Please explain.

Well, by definition, a solvent is in a higher amount thatn a solute, if thats what you are asking
