Holy shit, that was a lot of work, well done. Dad had one, did 8500 hours from -88 to 2011. Had a couple of rear axle bearings (duals) and a crank shaft bearing. A well built tractor. I swapped her in for a bit more modern, but another classic, JD6810.
Nice work Terry, My father is currently restoring one unfortunately the bonnet is too far gone!..Don't suppose you know of any? they're rarer than hens teeth!
thanks smithys farm , the extenders are on her before the restoration just a different colour , we painted them black to tie in better with the paint scheme and for the correct year of manufacture , thanks for watching and if you get a chance watch some of my other restoration videos , i hope to have one of a full nut and bolt restoration of a MF 20 / massey ferguson 135 industrial in yellow coming soon . regards terry .
Awesome restoration project sir. Maybe you can help me with Case IH 1056xl electrical wiring diagrams? I have some problems with electrical things, wires are broken or in bad shape but I have no instructions where i could see and find where it goes on this tractor. Thank you!
