I’m going to assume that the reason that you’re tightening the gathering chains going into harvest is that after harvest is done you loosen all of them for the off season? Thanks for sharing.
When we are done for the season the heads just get cleaned up and put away straight from the field then when we get the heads out for harvest we run them through the shop I was just tighting the chain up to compensate for the previous harvest wear there is no need to back the tension of the chains for storing them
