honestly you should try adjusting to fast english speakers. English isn't my first language either and I could still keep up. You might meet clients who are fluent english speakers being perhaps even faster than Victor.
@@bandofbrothers5860 i can understand even at a faster pace but thing is that his content is crisp & compact that before you understand it, he has already moved to a new dimension...
what i like straight off the bat is your honesty Mr.Victor...you said you were scared to death...exactly my sentiment..i have spent 16 years in financial industry but still i find it hard...so thanks for that
Mr. Cheng, Your material is amazing. Every time I read one of your emails, watch one of your videos or read something at the blog I realise at least one really important thing! Those insights are quite impressive, which is why I'm about to download LOMS. I'll have my interview within the next months in Bain and I see very good chances, I'll be an industry hire (hope so!!) My question is: how much to assume on an case interview? since it's not very clear for me the thin line between assuming facts because you have an idea of a product's related cost, a particular indicator of the economic environment, a market or business model structure, etc. AND assuming something you may have had to ask to the interviewer
Very professional content!! With a humble and simple presentation style. I can see the MECE approach was very well applied to this master class. This provide me a lot of confidence in having a (close to) complete view. Thanks you SO much to have shared that for free!! I have learned a lot!
Victor - I've got a first round phone interview next week, so glad I found this. Thank you so much for making this available. Your help and advice is extremely appreciated!
Thank you so much for the supportive content, Mr. Victor. ?Ques? - Is it just in India or is McKinsey hiring Business Consultants for the role of Business Analysts (even the responsibilities are that of consultancy) ?
Hi Victor, just wondering are you sure your statistics is correct regarding MK recruiting about 100 people around the world? I know that in 2012 MK recruited about 36 people from London Business School graduates around the world. Just imagine about other top schools HBS, Wharton, etc and how aggressive they also might be in pushing their graduates... It doesn't make sense...
@M M just tried your advice to slow it down. Unfortunately youtube can only slow it down to 0.75 speed which sounds weird for the speaker's way of talking.
Hi Victor, I am an MD student who is interested in the Advanced Professional Degree (APD) program at McKinsey. In the past, I received a bachelor's degree in economics and I debated internationally with success. Do you have any advice for someone who is interested in applying for a position after I complete medical school? Thank you!
Hi Victor- I tried going to your website so I could get the full video online (as your video indicates). I signed up with my email address (and already purchased your book), but I never got any sort of welcome email or anything... As the website says to read the amil for next steps on getting more information, I'm not sure what that information is! Mind sharing what I can do to get this content?
To get the interview at a top consulting company, each line on your resume must be really impactful. Get actual resume lines that worked at companies like McKinsey, BCG and Bain. resumeworded.com/?consulting - it's a searchable database of real resume lines that you can copy into your resume. I transformed my resume overnight with that tool and finally starting passing the CV screening process and getting calls for interviews at top companies.
