I got this in the trapper. It’s a beautiful knife. The last dozen Case knives I purchased have had terrific fit and finish with the exception of one which still was decent.

I picked this up day announced, same born on date! My handle scales have more of the gold accents, enriching the color a tad more than the Saw cut Caribbean Blue. Mine is pretty enough for the display case at present. Will get carry time this summer for sure. Thank you for sharing.👍

I handled one in the large stockman pattern at blade show Texas that had blade wrap. I was told by one of the guys at smkw that they pretty much all had issues and Case was aware of it. Nice to see you got a good one.

Great looking knife. I picked one up but had to send it back to SMKW. The liner and scale on the back side was sticking up almost 1/8” higher than the shield side. It looked terrible when the blade was out. That was a bummer because now they are out of stock.

Love the look of the Sea Dragon. I just purchased the Medium Stockman and I'm enjoying it. Shepherd Hills has a similar exclusive with burnt green called Lizard Skin. How is the smoothness of operation? I only have one soddy (Amber CS) and the open and close is still rough feeling after six months of use.

I've bought two Case knives in the the last month and they were dull as dirt. I won't be buying another Case knife until they improve their product. One was a Case Seafoam Canoe, and the other was a Case Rogers Jig Navy Blue Bone Barlow. Both of them could not cut through paper or cardstock. At the same time I bought a Old Timer Stockman, a made in China Buck 371 Stockman,, 2 Rough Ryders (one a stockman and the other a barlow), and a Cold Steel Ranch Boss III (made in China) and they had no problem cutting through paper or cardstock out of the box. I am shocked by how terrible Case knives have gotten. If a knife can't cut without working on the blade, are they really a quality product? The total of my Case knives was approximately $165, while the other five knives in total cost me about $115..

I live in Ireland and case knives are very difficult to come by. I have to get mine from the Netherlands.

Its pretty but Im over taking a chance on Case quality, especially from SMKW as they do not have free returns. You have to pay the shipping which in 2024 is ridiculous.
