Sunshine should be a regular therapy in nursing homes where residents rarely get outside. 😷

Some do have patios or large rooms with picture windows. Sunshine is such a mood booster, along with fresh air. Having to breathe nursing home recycled air all the time must be awful. When I took my aunt out of a nursing home in her wheelchair one day into the patio area, she immediately relaxed and promptly fell asleep. I should have taken her out every day, but I worked and was not able to. I feel really guilty about that now.

Yes, I learned this in nursing school in 2011. “Public Health Officals” knew this when they locked us down in our homes for over a year. I knew that they meant to harm the public with the bs “stay at home order”. I’m still so disgusted by the medical community, I’m no longer proud to be a RN.

In 2006, my 84 yr old Mom Was Dx with a glioblastoma, we cared for her at home. When the neurosurgeon told her she was terminal, her first words were, “this must be the hardest part of your job”. She always put others before herself. The tumor gave her lt sided stroke like weakness, she was able to talk during the numerous sz. She said the sz didn’t hurt, but she was afraid of them. She also never complained of any pain....that generation was so stoic. I had taken her outside as often as she wanted that summer. She would sit next to her roses and on those days, she said she felt better. Fresh air and sunshine are important for health. I also air my house out daily when the weather permits.

@@Medcram Why not just use some IR lights if it's inconvenient to get the patient outside? That would be possible to do regardless of time of day and even when it's cloudy or is there something about sunlight, other than perhaps psychological effects that can't be replicated easily with artificial lighting? With these artificial lights, one could get that type of light even while in a ventilator I guess to test on really critical patients that are not even conscious anymore.

Thank you so much, Doctor Seheult. I have been listening to you since early 2020. I use NAC, quercetin off and on, Vitamin D3 to get my levels normal, and I get 20-30 minutes of sunlight every day the sun is out and I walk along the forest. I live on the east coast and it can get cold, but the sunlight then is even more important. Almost 4 years later I still haven't had COVID. I had to have mesenteric follicular lymphoma removed in a major procedure in 2021 and I was out in the sun as soon as possible and I recovered quickly and have no sign of reoccurence in scans two and a half years later and counting. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your gentle presence and wisdom and deep research. The Earth is much better having you on it. If only we had more physicians like you we'd have a much more compassionate and effective medical system.

Love this! Thank you! This goes to show a case study on lifestyle interventions can be an adjunctive integrated into medical care. I heard a lecture that claimed sunlight on your skull converted to nitric oxide and then oxygen. Also, another M.D. talks about how foods you eat especially greens convert to nitric oxide and then oxygen nourishing your endothelial tissue. He was saying you needed to eat cooked greens with a splash of vinegar. There only might be one drawback to going outdoors and that is particulate matter and excess ozone. I check air quality before going outdoors because of pollution in my area.

But after starting to watch this I put it on pause and walked outside to enjoy 20 minutes of afternoon sunlight. I feel a bit better already (if for no other reason than just being cheered up by the light). This was over 20 years ago when few people were talking about vitamin D. My husband suggested it could be vitamin D related, and supplementing with vitamin D does help but it's not like being out in the sun. - Problem when it's cold also is that you have to put on more clothes to keep warm which prevents the sunlight from getting to your skin. As a Regestered Nurse of > 30 years emergency , I had 2 patients in which I requested of the ER Physician to hold off or not give the Tylenol with their blood presure in the 110 systolic range, explaining my research of how Tylenol interferes with prostaglandin in sick patients and causes hypotension . With each patient the provider dismissed my request and asked that I give the Tylenol. After giving both patients Tylenol systolic presure dropped below 90 and consequence admitted to hospital. DR. If the patient is that low on vitamin D and is hospitalized with Covid they need vitamin D infusion, not a day on the sun. Taking SOUND medical advice is the key to having more days in the sun. In any case, winter in the northern hemisphere doesn’t provide enough UV-B for this to work even conceptually. If you have darkly pigmented skin and live in the northern hemisphere, you should ALWAYS supplement with vitamin D.

@bobkat8765 9 месяцев назад
@@oderbie You seem so confident. Ever actually seen a map of UV-B radiation? You go out in winter in light fabrics? “If you can see light through a fabric, UV rays can get through, too. Many companies now make clothing that's lightweight, comfortable, and protects against UV rays even when wet. It tends to be more tightly woven, and some have special coatings to help absorb UV rays.” “The strength of the sun’s UV rays reaching the ground depends on a number of factors, such as: Time of day: UV rays are strongest in the middle of the day, between 10 am and 4 pm. Season of the year: UV rays are stronger during spring and summer months. This is less of a factor near the equator. Distance from the equator (latitude): UV exposure goes down as you get further from the equator. Altitude: More UV rays reach the ground at higher elevations. Cloud cover: The effect of clouds can vary, but it's important to know that UV rays can get through to the ground, even on a cloudy day. Reflection off surfaces: UV rays can bounce off surfaces like water, sand, snow, or pavement, leading to an increase in UV exposure.” SOURCE: American Cancer Society www.cancer.org/cancer/risk-prevention/sun-and-uv/uv-protection.html

😅We used the ArtemiC Rescue and ArtemiC Support combo, and it worked well for us for both short and long covid. You can find out more by typing it in. For either covid or long covid: ArtemiC Rescue is a pump spray, 5 pumps in the morning and 5 pumps at night at least a half an hour before eating. After 2 days the bottle is finished. ArtemiC Support is a pipette, 0.5ml in the morning and 0.5ml at night at least one half hour before eating. After 30 days the bottle is finished.

Infrared is the frequency of heat transmition, you can get infrared just as well from warm shower, so I think other sun additives including UV tending frequencies must play a role. So maybe it is better to try to have more of the body exposed to sun

Thank you for the reply. I did discuss antiviral medications with the physician. It was determined the risks outweighed the benefits because of my kidney stones. So far I am on day 3 and just lost my smell. I have only received the first round of Pfizer in March of 2021. Main symptoms are cough, body ache, extreme nausea and fever. I 100% believe you have proof of concept here with sunlight. I was able to absorb about 25 minutes today in southeast Texas. I can say confidently that I do feel a little better after the exposure. To negate placebo, I was able to stay out of bed up until about now. I will repeat the process tomorrow. Hi Roger, whenever life gets on top of me I go to the beach. Combination of sun, water and sand will pull me out of any "funk". I know first hand of my own experience in the sun how much good it does me. My only issue is I do not have any warning from my body that I am having too much of a good thing. This is not recent for me though. I have spent my entire life getting sunlight on purpose. I suffer through the dead of winter and apart from music , have no way to "deal with the blues". For 44 years I have maximised my sun exposure and it still works. I wish I could convince others but the slip slop slap message (anti skin cancer) scares people from going out in the sun at all. I know I over do it and I hope I don't pay a price for that, but, sensible sun exposure with cold water therapy (hot on the sand, cold in the water) with UV and infrared light is the best therapy for me and encompasses your theories during Covid. The beach does it all!!!!!!

I’m not sure if I commented and I’m one of your prior videos but I’m a doctor Physical Therapy and I had somebody bring Covid into my house and infect me., because of my medical history and 420 use I ended up becoming a happy hypoxic. My oxygen saturations were at 80 % on room air and I was dyspneic. I could barely sit. I was weak and had no energy at all, I could not get out of bed. I used 2 watt laser therapy pads with 10 x 200mw diodes each that I had designed about 25 years previously. After a radiating all of my lung space for 30 minutes each spot the pads were placed my oxygen saturation went up to the mid to high 80s. So then I was going to go to the hospital and decided maybe I should try it again and see what happens because they don’t ha infrared therapy devices and won’t use this stuff, rather they’re gonna stick a tube straight down my throat. After the second lasering session, my oxygen saturation went up into the 90s around 92 to 94% on room air and I was no longer dyspneic and I could walk 14 feet from my bed out and back with just some shortness of breath. So getting people into the sunlight is a very weak way of getting exposure to the lung space for infrared light. In fact, using a direct source of infrared, red light would be way more intense and way more effective and that’s coming from the person who research laser therapy over 25 years ago. I have extensive experience with LED, low level, laser, therapy, cold laser, LLLT, LILT and whatever you wanna call it. I’ve used it to do all kinds of stuff in healthcare and amazing things with reversing pathology doctors can’t with drugs which is exactly what the light therapy does to the epithelial cells lining the lungs. There is a case study on the use of infrared light, and an explains the pathophysiology of the disease as well as light therapy and how it impacts that disease process flipping the switch. When I treat chronic wounds, I can arrest an infection in one visit. So light therapy should be the go to gold standard for treatment and maybe you need to get a bunch of people together and do a research study in your profession. I practice 10-20 years ahead of the research curve. While often edified with new info, it is not unlikely for me to see positive outcomes with techniques I figured out clinically when I was a kid. So please research out infrared light for Covid using laser therapy with direct stimulation of the lung spaces for 30 minutes because time matters, so does dosage, so does pulse frequency and everything else. So the pulse frequencies that you would want to use are between one and 20. Continuous is OK, but does not work as well to manipulate the physiology of the human cell. You definitely need LED class 3B diodes of 100mw or better. Also arginine, lysine, CoQ10 and others enhance outcomes as well as increasing the penetration to more than 20% with reducing the skins impedance with PEMF (Tesla’s healing energy) electrical stimulation and magnet therapy. Also PEMF may yield awesome results too. Just never tried it at the time to know. And FYI anecdotal info is what got light therapy approved for use in Europe and Russia (leaders in light therapy with a society as large as the medical administration) and research that got stuff approved for use in the US was based off of a smoking cessation study stimulating acupuncture points with a 5mw laser pointer…

Your correlation of the light and disease spiking relates to mitochondrial dysfunction being worse at that time as all diseases are rooted in mitochondrial dysfunction with multiple causation mostly pharmaceuticals creating malabsorption issues in the gut.

Where can I buy lights of the right kind so that I can have them available ahead of time for covid? We are in a heavily overcast area and we have long winters. Sun light ... without sun screen ... stimulates the layer under the epidermis which is where Nitric Oxide is produced. (See Trust Me I'm Your Doctor BBC ... 5 or 6 years ago). Nitric Oxide opens up the cardiovascular system and activates the parasympathetic nervous system. I worked with many long-haul folks. 1. They were all chronically dehydrated. 2. They were overly busy people who were always on the go and very sympathetic nervous system types.

Thank you very much! i would get sunshine daily from now on. I wonder if all the people living in blue zone or those over 100 all had higher vitamin d and other good chemicals produced from greater sun exposure ? many medical advices, like harvard website urged readers to avoid sunlight at 10am to 2pm to avoid sunburns and then after 2 paragraphs it said many Americans are not getting enough vitamin D !
