I’m so happy to see and hear you and Cash had a fun time at the Venture 4th of July Street Fair Steve, I really appreciate you sharing this fantastic video too cheers Steve I really enjoyed it too.
He's 8 Years old. His Name is Cash. Like Johnny Cash. Yes, he is tall. Yes, as big as a Pony. He was adopted when he was 4. He eats two big Bowls a day. He is a retired Champion Show Dog. He weighs 165 Yes, he can run fast. 7 Feet tall on his hind legs. :)
Good to know we are seeing Cash right up to date in this vid. Still looking healthy And a magnificent specimen. A dog less interested in other dogs than Cash. She doesn't even like other Danes. :D Great tune there, Informer. :D
Hi Steve, sadly looks like Kevin (the dog that got the Guinness record recently) died a couple weeks ago, shortly after been crowned. This unfortunately highlights a drawback of this amazing breed. Since Cash 2.0 is such an unique and magnificent representation of the breed maybe now that the record is open you could contact Guinness World Record and see if they would be willing to officially measure Cash 2.0. It would be such a blessing for Cash to hold the record for the remainder of his life. Please contact them and check it out. Imagine Cash 2.0 walking with a vest that says World Tallest Dog.
@@prmaster I completely agree but I told Steve I would not press the issue Cash is a mythical beast for however longer he lives he should have the record Mitch in Florida
Steve has mentioned previously that while he has never had Cash measured, either the breeder or the previous owner had done so & was told by the breeder that he was 40 inches at the withers. Which assuming that what was told to Steve was accurate would've made Cash 2 inches taller than even Kevin had been. He had also mentioned previously that he isn't interested in Cash being recognized as the world's tallest dog. And, my understanding of how that whole world records process works it isn't a simple process, nor necessarily cheap either depending on the specific guidelines [that aren't publicly available] for this or that specific record. I'm looking at an article currently from 2021 about someone who was going through the process to get their dog recognized as world's tallest living dog. Here is a snippet: "They had to take multiple videos of him running on flat surfaces, he had to be measured by certified veterinarians & had those measurements witnessed by people other than themselves or their known vet. The witnesses had to sign sworn statements, the vets had to make copies of their licenses & the records have all gone before Guinness officials in Europe [the owners live[d] in Florida,] & are awaiting final approval. 'We had to do 20 different things, & it's been 3 years," Seay said. "We're just waiting on them to basically confirm at this point." Though I don't know how typical or representative of the process that 1 story is or if there is some reason it would be an outlier. And, if you were able to get someone from them "to officially measure Cash 2.0" you are looking at thousands of dollars in fees for the adjudicator, all the costs for their travel & lodging expenses as well as a daily fees for their time.
Happy independence day to all my American friends! But please, for the love of God, do not vote for Trump... Freedom & independence is something we need to cherish and preserve in the West. Trump is a clear and present danger to both. Greetz from Amsterdam xxx
