I'm Leslie, a 29-year-old Corporate Executive, and most importantly, a dog mom to my two furbabies. 🐶 Now, here's the kicker...I'm almost $500,000 in debt. 😳 WHAT?!
I've been budgeting on and off for quite a few years, but after realizing I have a MAJOR spending problem, I decided that I want to take my finances seriously and track my spending on a granular basis. That's where you come in! I have chosen to start this channel in order to document my journey to a debt-free lifestyle and I'm looking forward to having this support group in my corner.
My videos give you a very in-depth and realistic look at my budget/finances, and as you will see, it is nowhere near perfect. I'm working day by day to spend less, save a lot more, and eventually be DEBT FREE and I'd love to bring you on this journey with me.

I really appreciate you being honest. We just started our journey and we live in California and rent is super high and we just refinanced our truck to cut the payment in half after finally getting a good rate so it’s definitely worth it especially if you keep the number of months left the same as your previous car loan.

I feel your pain with the car payment. I had to buy our last vehicle at a buy here pay here auto lot. Ugh the 30% interest is awful thankfully it will be paid off early by the end of the year. It was literally the ONLY place within almost 100 miles of us that had something big enough for our family of 8. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

Finally someone I can relate to. I live in the Bay Area in California and our bills and taxes are crazy high also. To me this is more realistic in terms of the bill amount i also have to pay. I’m still learning how cash stuffing works. This is my first week of trying and I’m excited to see how much money I can save.

I’m a CO native and can’t afford a house here :( I could but the mortgage would be way more debt then I want to take on. I totally understand what you mean, I’m still paying off bad financial decisions from my early 20s. My credit suffered from those decisions too.

Another CO native here! It’s extremely tough living here. My husband and I graduated high school a year after marijuana was legalized, so you know how much things exploded. There was no way we could afford anything and it was unfortunate timing to say the least. We made it work though! Keep your head up and be smart with your money and the hard work will pay off eventually.

Amazon sells them, or go to Walmart in the bath section they have one but it's for makeup. Works great for Bill's, or check in the office section you have letter sorters. Those work as well.

I usually get a older guy when ever I go in for mine. He is so nice but very slow at counting money 😂 he we would get confused in the middle of this counts he would have to re count. Lol he will use the machine after and I also help him count. So it more on the time part for me than missing money or anything haha

I'm new to your channel, so I apologize if you've already answered this question. Why do you take out "bill" money in cash? Wouldn't it be safer in the bank? You have to put it back to pay the corresponding bill. I get having the rollover in cash.

The reality is that you must live below you means to be financially independent. Envelope stuffing works because it is cash. It is real money. Most families not have $500 for an emergency. An emergency can be a trip to the dentist. But it shouldn’t be an emergency. You knew that you will need dental care, you just didn’t know when.

New to your channel! Love it! We live near San Francisco CA and our entire budget is 4610 a month for everything so I totally get you with expensive my question is how are you able to pay for everything in cash? My.rent is paid online so im just curious

With cash envelopes, you do not have to pay everything with cash. Rent is an example. You can take $1000 out of the rent envelope, and pay rent with your checking account. You may have to deposit the $1000, you may not. You can also use the $1000 cash for groceries. I will also mention that, considering your monthly budget, your family income is $55000 plus. Not at all "low income." Still I believe that you can benefit from cash envelope stuffing.

Hi!! I’m just starting out in my cash stuffing journey! I wanna ask you, why do you stuff with real money and not put it in the bank? This is not me judging, I see some people using fake money as little placements of where there money goes to instead of real money, and I just wanna know the benefits of each!!
