wow. i am sr citizen. as an equity investor since long i had inclination to learn cash flow statement. today i searched this topic in youtube and to my luck i chose you and find how in simple way you are educating. i took yr class as if i have to appear in board exam. your writing,way to explain all got printed in my memory. for today part 1 is excellent and tons of thanks to you. tomorrow i will do home work for part 1 and shall listen part 2 etc etc.

For last couple of days, I was in search of some easy explanation of CFS. You have explained very well and I was looking for some easy explanation. I've 2 questions if you can find some time to answer: 1- What is difference between cash account and cash flow statement? Because both are using ins and outs of cash. 2-Why do we begin with net income before tax, though net income is not in cash form? 3- Why you didn't teach direct method? 4- When should we expect the second part of this lecture?
@@bipashajotwani7944 Thanks Bipasha, In reality isn't it that we do not treat depreciation through cash account. But you mentioned that cash account involves non cash items like depreciation.

For me it's the most difficult chapter in accounts..i feel Npo is easier than it bcz it has a set pattern unlike CFS...today I'm starting it .. i will study continously without any burden(since there is still some time in pre board 2) I really want to make my weakest subject/topic my most scoring subject....only then i will feel like i have actually studied it. I don't want to fail again in pre boards ... Best of luck to everyone 🙃🙃

If your Closing Cash balance in CFS is not matching with BS. U can do the following 1) Start with R&S difference in BS in Net profit coulumn in CFS 2) Map all B&S differences in CFS ignoring all adjustments 3) Once above two are done, your CF will always match 4) For P&L adjustment items give two effects It wont be much use in exams but in practical life its🔥
