As someone that works in a production facility (not this but food related) that zipper opening on the shrink wrap is SO HARD to get right… the temperature, the timing, and the tension on the shrink wrap… 😩 Ugh. Some days I’d rather just eat the plastic.

It'd be cool if the mystery bags inside were cloth drawstring bags so they could be reused or even paper bags to avoid as much plastic waste. The plastic georgie pineapple is good if people reuse it and keep it because it's probably not recyclable. I wonder why the plastic film over the pineapple

The plastic film is so that it's noticeable if it's been opened I would assume. Because people have a habit of opening mystery boxes up in store and taking what they want.

The plastic is on the outer layer so people can look inside etc and it keeps it together in transport to the shops etc

@sunnymeowcat I can answer that! I work at a store. Anything that can be delicately opened and tampered with, usually will be. Just tape on a cardboard label is not necessarily secure. Tape can be peeled, and since the yellow is bright, it makes it hard to see fingerprints. Not to mention we get a lot of product that no matter how nicely it is packaged, It can get beaten up while being shipped to us, so that cardboard label could easily rip and tear. Yes it is more plastic being used, but it ensures that you are getting the things you paid for without losing items or someone sneaking something into it

On the sticker issue, I think if the stickers are very repetitive or small or simple they’re kind off count 1 especially if they’re on the same page but the big ones there I don’t mind counting them as 3

I feel that stickers should be counted as 1 surprise if not at all. Because to me, since stickers are just paper, I feel a company is cheap for making them as multiple items. (For any mystery gift box). Just my opinion.
