Girl your coffee budget is your business who cares what anyone has to say cause in the end it's none of their business what you do with your money. You deserve it! Keep up the good work!
I was gonna say, $20 is good!! When I was getting coffees outside of my home I could spend upwards to $75 a week. I don’t get coffee out regularly anymore but when I do it’s usually still $6 a drink, especially cause they charge for every little thing now, coconut milk, extra shots, you name it they add up!! Like original poster said, unless they pay your bills, you do what you want!!!
I agree I hate when it comes to finance the first thing people say is to give up your daily coffee. Some days the only motivation I have to leave and go to work is when I treat myself to a coffee. Cheaper than other vices lol
Sweetie, I am an old lady and am so proud of the way you save. Do not ever let anyone make you feel bad. Just know a grandmother is cheering you on from the sideline!🎉
Don't listen to the negative comments. People will complain no matter what you do. It's your system and it works for you... Enjoy your coffee! I know I would 😉 Greetings from the Netherlands
Desiree just ignore the naysayers as you can't please everyone. You are doing a great job and you have to live your life. I have been budgeting all my life, but have been on target since 2008. I just retired at the end of December at age 61 with no debt including my house. So enjoy your life and plan your dreams.
You are doing such a great job with your finances. I enjoy the videos! And about your coffee fund.... I'm on team coffee.☕ You keep treating and enjoying yourself. Never mind those grumpy people.😄
you enjoy your coffee girl you work hard and are entitled to it the little things truly make a big difference be good yourself because nobody else will xoxo happy new year love your videos
Wait who I gotta go yell at for you? I can't believe someone would get upset about what you budget for coffee. We work diligently so we can enjoy the small, simple things in life like a cup of coffee on a cold morning while the sun rises - and being grateful for moments like those!
I enjoyed your video. We all have are vices. Enjoy your coffee. My 2024 year is a no spend on clothing. I don't do my nails, I get my hair done every 3 mths. We need to indulge in something. Wish you the best in the New Year with your savings, appreciate the videos. I watch random people to keep myself on track.
That coffee comment was hilarious 😂. It’s your money tospend how you want. If you want coffee then whose business is it to question that. You go girl! Love your videos!
Love your videos. Keep treating yourself to coffee. You work hard and you deserve to treat yourself. Everyone should treat themselves. I treat myself to coffee twice a week.
Yay top 50 comments and top 302 likes. Love this channel. Best to you and your family. Thanks for making this video. Happy New Year!!! You said $35 in clothing but you had a $20 and two $5s so it's only $30.
New subscriber! I love your vibes when filming these it's so soothing while I start cash stuffing as well! I love the sinking funds tracker is that a product you're coming out with?
I just found your channel and am enjoying it immensely! First off, get the coffee!! It’s nobody’s business. Second, where did you get the box and small envelopes? I’ve been searching and can’t find. Thank you.
Just a couple of questions. I've done budgeting for years, but always via spreadsheets with only a few categories (coffee, eating out) using cash envelopes. How do you deal with the issue of change once you've broken a bill? I have a change jar and cash out it out every few months and dump the resulting deposit into vacation savings. Also, do you worry at all about theft? I notice that you do move larger amounts to savings, but you still have enough in your binders to tempt a burglar!
Question do you have separate savings accounts open up under the same bank, or under different banks or do you put all the placeholder money into one savings account?
I have one savings account for all of the money that I have a placeholder for. I do have another savings account but I only put money in saving for taxes in that one. And both savings are under my same bank
I have a question, if you would want to add just $5 in every envelope, how much would do be? I did my math today and I was surprised over $300. On another note, some ppl like to dictate what you do with your money, but how are they doing with theirs? You have been doing great since you started, I’ve said that before, best thing is to ignore those non-productive comments even though sometimes is hard to redid and give them a nice answer back, but then I think they don’t even deserve that. Anywho, keep it up.
I do live alone and pay rent...In San Diego! but I don't cash stuff any of my bills because it's all done electronically. I try to cash stuff things that I could potentially purchase in person with cash. I also have been cash stuffing to save for some upcoming annual payments like car registration and subscriptions. I hope to have a video soon explaining all of that🤗
Another great video to start my day! Glad you brush off the negative comments. I guess they never heard “if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all”! Keep doing what you’re doing! 💙💛🪴
