I like your unstuffings because it shows us how to use the cash envelopes without using cash as the payment method. I want the cash back, I want the miles, etc. My checking account has a buffer the size of my typical monthly credit card use. I like planning with cash at home. I also appreciate watching you pull from other categories to cover an expense. I had a hard time doing that in the beginning, almost stopped budgeting because I was all "I've got $100 in clothing but I have $15 in eating out, guess I won't go out with friends". No, it's all my money and these are plans, not rules. I don't have consumer debt. I have goals and ideas but the money categories aren't here to make life harder.
While I personally like when people add up all the numbers and just take that out, I also loooove to watch others play with the money so I love these videos regardless 😂
For the interest on your credit card, if you haven’t already, try calling them to see if they’ll waive all or some of it especially if it’s the first time it’s happened. They’re often willing to do it if it’s a one time or very irregular occurrence.
I love, love the way you do your monthly budget close out….people crack me up! If someone doesn’t like the way you do it…than they don’t have to watch it…duh! I was always taught (and it’s served me well throughout my life) if you can’t say anything nice and encouraging just don’t say anything at all!!!!

I love your unstuffing videos! But I’m confused. Instead of putting all the $1 in savings challenge couldn’t you take them and use them to pay off the amounts you are short? That way you are able to pay off the credit card and then don’t have to deduct from future stuffings.
I enjoy your unstuffing but it’s a bit confusing. PEOPLE THERE IS NOTHING WRONG TO QUESTION OR ASK…People are on your channel because you inspire me them and help them to budget. They follow your lead. So what is the reason of having a buffer or even putting money in the bank. If at the end you looking for money to payback at the end. Can you just add everything up you owe and subtract what you have in the bank. Then just fix what is now in the bank????????
