I worked in retail, did the same thing, mostly because old stickers never peeled off properly anyway so I'd just the glue the new ones on top because I was paid minimum wage and fuck that bullshit.
@@onometre I'm still working on my bachelor's so it's a major mindfuck. Like, I almost could've done 2 bachelor's in the time I've had but I've needed to work.
Let's all meet at this cashies and share a vb long neck, Dank pods included. One vb for all of us, because we're law abiding, and also broke. I won't be there, though, as I don't even live in Australia.
When I saw your "LEWIS HAMILTON LEWIS HAMILTON LEWIS HAMILTON" bit at 10:02, I was LITERALLY on my ass from laughter and I went to subscribe, but then I saw I was already subscribed. xD
Every time you revive an Ipod with somebody else's whole musical life on it, I make it a point to pause the video, and pick one song on the list (usually the one with the most plays) and listen to it myself.
This video made me go to Cashies for the first time in my life. I'm bloody glad I did, I bought a Pioneer VSX-C301-S receiver for $29 because they thought it was a DVD recorder. As far as I can tell, it works perfectly. No idea why it was that cheap but THANKS CASHIES
I found myself browsing iPods on eBay and ordered a 3rd gen Nano just like the one in this video. I don't know why I bought it, or what I'm going to do with it . I barely remember ordering it. It was Frank's and there's pictures from his son's graduation in 2007 on it.
@@rodimusmaximus3912 Thanks to this place I ordered a second gen mini (and nearly pulled the trigger on another mini) and someone on reddit is offering me a refurbished 5.5 gen Classic. And I might check out some of those ultra cheap MP3 players that you can find for a few dollars each. There's a knockoff of the second gen iPod shuffle that I'm interested in.
@@evancrazyerror vat is gst here lol, it's pre-added into the price. also there's a few specific taxes that bump up the prices of things by quite a bit.
@@mylunawalker look at the number of cases in victoria and then look at the number of cases in the average US state the US on average has more than 45 times the number of cases in victoria PER STATE
@@ihatetrollingGaming Well the US does have over thirteen times the population of AUS and a greater population density too. Not to mention it's one of the most visited countries in the world. It's unfair to compare the outbreak between two countries when there are so many different variables to consider, but Australia definitely has had it much better than most.
@@Seth_M-T not really, if the USA would have taken the same steps Australia did early in the pandemic it would not even be close to as bad as it is now. Also if you compare the number per 200,000 people which is how you compare different population sizes the USA is way higher then Australia.
I am deeply, DEEPLY jealous of your Cashies places. Closest we can get to that around were I live is Goodwill, and they're basically always cleaned out of anything worth mention, let alone electronics that aren't basically broken. Gods, I'd have basically DOVE into those retro game drawers.
We have the same cash converters here in NZ! The one closest to my home just shut down. Literally the entire cashies franchise is just a front to launder stolen power tools I stg
I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS EARLY. SO ITS MY TIME, by far one of the best channels I have discovered this year. Very chill and fun dude, hope if I ever go the great area that is Stralia, I could meet you. 10/10
Growing up, we had Cashies in Canada. They were gone for a while but then showed up again for a couple years before disappearing again. I miss them. :(
Saw you in my recommended a few months ago when you were at 5-6k and subs and you soon became one of my favorite channels. This channel is truly a gem among the fields of RU-vid. Cheers man!!!
Listen, if you ever made a second channel that's just about crawling through thrift stores, I'm there for it Edit: Also, with the free application Recuva, you could totally look at what's on those wiped iPods
