CashualChuck Brutally Ranked Main vocalists of PPOP Boy Groups | JL of BGYO here I come! 

It's UNDENIABLE..STELL IS ONE OF THE VERY VERY FEW OUTSTANDING VOCALISTS THIS GENERATION HAS EVER PRODUCED.

Stell could easily be a traditional solo OPM artist - the talents in that sphere are on a whole different level, so I don't say that lightly. As a main vocal, he's practically untouchable in the Ppop sphere, and few main vocalists can hang with him from the other industries.

As much as I want to be unbiased, nobody would believe me so I don't care anymore (lol!) but Stell for me is the best male vocalist of this generation, at least in OPM and I've seen several music experts agree. Even vocal coaches/reactors think he is really a very highly skilled singer that I didn't find a single one ever pointed out a single flaw on Stell's singing technique (except for that crazy dude who accused Stell of lipsyncing and using autotune). They even say his technique is very healthy (like never forced/strained). Plus, I am a sucker for nice vibrato and Stell for me has the best vibrato that I've heard. Clear and slow, and even his falsetto has vibrato. It's very satisfyingly unusual for my ears. Not those vibratos that singers can't control and all over the place. Like every word they sing has vibrato in it which makes the notes go all over the place. But what's even better is that his lower range is like butter. Smooth and silky and even resonant to a point. And with the character and personality that he has, he's perfect! Geez, I cannot shut my mouth with how proud I am of this man!

Agree to everything you said, for among the artists shown here, Stell's vocal sounds the most distinct, liked fine tuned. It is somewhat frustrating why his lines in the grp seem tapered down to a few parts or limited just to choruses. He is one member who needs to have solo projects to show off what's hidden.

Stell is an awesome singer that there are RU-vid reactors telling people he is lip syncing or doing auto tune. That's how good Stell is! On top of Chuck's list, Stell can sing different genre, is a great dancer too, can choreograph, and got a great sense of humor. That's a winner in my book!

Nice watching this one with you. I'm also not familiar with other PPop groups aside from SB19. PPop is a relatively new genre here in the Philippines and SB19 put the bar so high that I didn't feel the need to check out other groups. But seeing other PPop groups was nice, and I'm not surprised Stell emerged to be on top. Of course, I'm biased but there's no denying Stell's talent.

This was early on in BGYO’s career so there’s very little material available from BGYO JL 🥰 Jolobear’s countertenor is a perfect compliment to BGYO Akira’s very bright tenor. Check out their rendition of Be Mine. I also recommend BGYO’s Magnet, it’s a completely unique sound. I’m really not into belters, but Stell is really something else.

Totally agree with Chuck! Stell is #1! And that's why he is my super bias! This guy can sing! And not only is the best for me in that category, but he can also dance! And dance well at that! He even choreographs many of their songs! Oh my gosh! How can't anyone not fall in love with this man! Because aside from being multi-talented, he has also a great sense of humor, is a very humble, good-natured and sweet guy, and can also cook and bake! What more can I say... other than that he is also very handsome! ❤

Even me as a Filipino I admit there are a lot of Filipino talented singers. I admire a few of them but I only fangirl sb19 for the very first time and the only artist I fangirl ever. They set the standard so high that most ppop group should keep up... And stell is so deserving in number one spot. And we haven't include his humor and wit and we are all dead 🤭🥴

I think sb19 will forever be my one and only... G22 is a girl group. That's why I categorize them as different. But I see sb19 to them. They could sing, they have female rapper too, they are good dancer and really had swag. And the last is when they are so down to earth and they vocally say their thanks to sb19. I saw chuck made a reaction with them also, because they were also asked the same question on about sb19, and what their difference to other ppop.

Alamat is my close next after the Ppop Kings, SB19. Stell is undeniably the best of this Ppop's generation to date. Close next is Pablo on vocal department. For Alamat, my bias are Mo and Tomas. So I guess, I really gravitates towards vocalist. 😁

I will shamefully acknowledge that I have not ventured beyond SB19 with the amount of talent in Ppop. Maybe when SB19 has burst open the door wife enough for the others to break through I shall.... I bacame an A'tin last year of June and since then, never a day would I miss listening to them. It's true that once you enter into their zone, it's hard to get out. I tried to watch other PPop groups but I still keep coming back to SB19. “Sila lang sapat na“.

Hurraira! For ppop vocals i would like to suggest the group named Yes My Love. They are still new and have only 2-3 songs but they are great! They are under same management with G22 and VXON. For girl group G22 and BINi are great! Also Kaia.

Stell is really a great singer, but I will always have a soft spot for BGYO’s JL and Akira. Nate, who started out as a non-singer, is also a dark horse.

Hi Hurraira. As for Sev, I still think he’s so underutilized in his group. His voice is also so distinctly clear. I think his voice still needs development but he definitely needs to be put more forward in the group as he’s such an asset to PHP. I agree mostly with Chuck’s ranking. I don’t know much about the newer groups, though. When this list was made, Horizon and many other new boy groups were not yet debuted. Stell will still be on top, though, by a mile. Definitely check out G22. They have one less member now, unfortunately, but they’re still badass. Also check Alamat. A lot of their songs also have a deep meanings, but they didn’t create most of their songs themselves, though.

I think Stell because his voice is very stable even after hard out dance performance and his voice is very clean/clear. Hopefully Pablo will give Stell some rap verse too or release a song that all of them are rapping. I think Stell can also beatbox.
