I was looking for a watch , and I decided that I will get Casio. I went to their website so I can choose a model and got lost. I started to explore some models which brought me interest by watching RU-vid reviews. What I have found it is exactly what you said - every model have some weakness. I did not realize that it was on purpose and it seemed weird at first. Now I am sure that it is on purpose! I also live in Germany and I want EU Date format. I stopped on MRW-200H. It's enough for me. The almost perfect Casio is GW-M5610-1. And even this model have weakness - the handicapped buttons. Sorry for the long comment. Great review!
My Seiko Solar watch needs a lot of sunlight, it stops after a week in the dark. But my 3 Casio Tough Solar watches can spend half a year in the dark and still work perfectly, level goes from H to M, I never saw Low battery level.
