I love it! Just got it today for $42 at Amazon. Black dial ...and might I add, brave man, thank you for taking this leap. Now I feel mpre comfortable with all my divers. 🙏👍
And the price of the Duro with the Marlin logo will increase as Casio have no more the right to use this logo .... the new Duro's don't have it anymore !!!
You're review is great and I think you have the right idea since the Duro has gotten such rave reviews on watch-oriented websites. If you have the time I think interviewing a diver or two who have used the watch and ask them what the Duro's performance was. Since it is a diver's watch, I suggest interviewing divers would be a good idea since they give it the ultimate stress test.
I've had the original black dial for just over 7 years and it's incredible. I cook for a living and this watch is usually on my wrist. It's a strap monster and of all my watches, I get so many compliments on the duro. I wear it on a bunch of natos, but recently picked up a few fmk rubber straps from ali express and if you own a duro, the fkm straps are a necessity.
@@the1010watchclub ordered the gold version after watching your video and got it today. What a beauty! Didn't want another black and grey diver previously, but had to add the new gold one to my collection :)
You prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
Skx on your wrist! Put a jubilee on the Duro haha. The dial is made of metal by the way. Seems like aluminum when I take it out of the watch. If you want your seconds hand to line up just take the movement and dial out and once it's stopped on one of the big 4 indices just gently push the hand until it aligns. I do it on a lot of quartz pieces and the Duro is massive so it bothers me. Currently rocking my Islander 38 I bought after selling my skx009. 300 bucks, sapphire crystal with AR, drilled lug holes, lumed ceramic bezel, strapcode style bracelet, etc. Nice video, subscribed.
Thanks for the sub, welcome to the channel! I actually tried to put the Duro on that bracelet but the spring bar holes didn't line up 😂. Thanks for the tip about the dial!
Just found your channel, since I was curious if my Duro would hold up as to water resistance. Starting to wear my Duro since my daily SKX with jubilee is just temporarily uncomfy. I'm hooked on Divers (have some lux one's) and enjoying your cool content. New sub.
@@the1010watchclub I enjoyed the stock rubber strap, but I usually like my daily watches to have a metal bracelet. I bought the OEM bracelet for the MDV-106D, it's a perfect fit and looks great! www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Casio-MDV-106D-MDV106D-st-steel-watch-band-silver-tone-22mm-10391237/383893654495?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
HEADS UP- I just made the pretty awesome discovery that the steel bracelet for my Casio MTD120D-8AV fits the Duro perfectly, plus that whole watch costs about the same as the Duro bracelet: amzn.to/3cOV2Dw
I believe it’s unlimited time, at least as long as a person can wear it. It would be interesting to leave it underwater for a month and come back and find out, though
