This is the one I take diving. You wouldn't take a multi-thousand dollar watch into an environment where anything could happen. You'd be spending that fortune again to replace it. This here, break it or lose it, not a big deal to replace.
So what’s the deepest you’ve taken the Duro? Love that these watches are getting used for their purpose! I don’t dive but would love to know what these watches can actually withstand in terms of water depth.
Loved your excitement for this unboxing! You were really funny, and I do relate to it because I have the same thoughts and behavior when I get a really great watch like that one! Cheers!
Haha, glad you enjoyed the video, I wish I could unbox it for the first time over and over again. So pleased with the Duro! The simple things in life can bring the most happiness. Thanks for watching mate. 👍🏻
Just got exactly this blue black version myself. Loving it. Previously had the black one but lost during a trip. Lucky still able to get this new since my understanding this model is discontinued and replaced with 107, which has no marlin logo.
Yeah it’s such a lovely watch, glad you’re enjoying it and also losing one is annoying but affordable enough to replace. The marlin logo model are still available on Amazon which is great! Thanks for watching.
It's a great watch i made a two videos on it. when i saw the black & gold i was hooked! love b&g two tone in that style which seems harder to find in a lot of watches
Ah the "batman" nice choice. At $50 US I couldn't stop at one, I have all 6. Great fish tank by the way, that's pretty much what my youtube channel is all about.
Haha thanks man, I’m really pleased with it. Wow! I can’t believe you have all 6, that’s a serious collection right there. And thankyou, I get lots of enjoyment from my tank. Thankyou for watching, welcome to the channel.
I have both the black one and the blue, i do intend to get this one and possibly the pepsi one. I would try and get all colour variants but i don't like the look of the green and gold ones.
@@MorbidCrow666 yeah some of the colours are not for everyone, but would you feel incomplete if you didn’t collect the whole set? You may grow to Love the other colours 🤔😁
@@The-Casio-Man Yes.. Also, Marlins (106) are US exclusive and the ones available locally in India are 107s which don’t have Marlin Logo. There’re rumors that Casio doesn’t have rights to use Marlin logo anymore, so only the ones left in stock are getting sold (and they’ll be sold out soon !) and there was FOMO !
In despite of riduculous price, its not built with cheap materials. CASE IS FULL STAINLESS STEEL.... BACK AND CROWN ARE SCREWED ! ITS 20 ATM TESTED W.R ..... ALL DIVER WATCH ENTHOUSIAST MUST OWN IT
Just be careful that the magpies don't fly away with it! IMO You simply can't get a better Submariner clone or homage watch for the money. Stylish yet functional and robust. Got the Pepsi (Red and Blue), Black bezel/face and the Blue Bezel/face. They look better than some top tier watches that cost a fortune.
@@The-Casio-Man For the plain black bezel/black face I tried a Nato black and grey stripe strap, looked nice but didn't feel or wear well. Tried a two tone silver bracelet strap, spoiled the look of the black bezel. Made it look really cheap. Will buy and try a black metal bracelet (22mm) as the black resin strap suits the black bezel to a tee but I get a sweaty wrist with the resin/rubber strap. Much prefer a metal strap as I have broken many straps that were leather, plastic, resin etc. I did break the clasp on my Avia watch but it was an easy fix and it was the first ever problem I ever had in years possibly decades of wear with a humble metal strapped watch! You can get the Black Bezel/face with an official Casio silver strap but it still doesn't look right. IMO you need to have a strap that matches or complements the bezel. Black strap for the black bezel. Blue strap for the Blue Bezel. Pepsi (two tone blue red) etc which will be bought as soon as the desired Duro's are acquired. (3 to go Blue/Black Black/Gold and another plain black one.) Won't be buying the green Duro variations as they are hideous. (IMO) Trying to wean myself off my ancient Avia quartz collection. Hence the Duros were on the shortlist.
