Great review. I have this watch also the 12 hour chrono is a nice function. I have too many watches to give a number, one thing this watch has over the rest of my collection is the accuracy of the date window, it’s spot on. Well done Casio.
Just got mine. Beautiful finish, very nice quality for $98!. No problem with accuracy. Band and clasp as good as any $1,000 watch. Now let's see how long it will last.
Mam ten zegarek już prawie 5 lat. Trochę rysek złapał, ale generalnie jestem bardzo zadowolony. Nie jestem w stanie do dziś znaleźć nic lepszego, nawet podnosząc pułap do 2000zł. Ewentualnie seria zegarków radiowych od Citizen jest ciekawa. Sprawdzałem też mechaniczne i podobał mi się np. Orient Open Heart automatic albo Orient Star z tego samego typu. Jednak problem jest taki, że o takie zegarki trzeba dbać i pamiętać o nich, nie można nimi o nic uderzyć, bo to oznacza drogie naprawy. Najlepiej mieć też rotor, który kosztuje kilka stówek, bo taki zegarki nie lubią leżeć bezczynnie przez dłuższy czas. Innymi słowy mechaniki są dla pasjonatów, ale nie są aż tak użytkowe. To trochę jak samochody typu old-timer do pojeżdżenia na weekend. Świetna zajawka, ale u mnie wygrywa praktyczność, czyli mechanizmy kwarcowe.
adf1985 dzięki za opinię, faktycznie na co dzień zegarek kwarcowy albo smartwatch są o wiele bardziej praktyczniejsze, ale ten tykający mechanizm bajka, i jak już się decydować na zegarek mechaniczny to koniecznie z przeszkolonym dekielkiem.
Finally a comprehensive review of the watch. I was going to get one just to get a cheap slide ruler on my wrist, but the outer bezel seems way too wobbly when you turn the screw at 8 o'clock, so I'll probably pass on this one.
I like the watch, excellent review with all the important stuff, thank you. The only thing I don't like on the watch...the logarithmic dial seems flimsy when operated using the knob :( The logarithmic crown would be better solution I guess :(

Thanks for this great detailed review! One quick question: around 1:22, it looks like you still have the chronograph running, but the 1/10s dial (the one at 6:00) stops running while seconds hand is still running. Does this mean that you can only expect 1/10s measurement up to 30s only, and then you're sticked to a 1s accuracy?
It would be real cool if you showed us how to do the calculations 3 × 4 And how did you do the 3 times he pointed to 3 and you pointed at the number 40 And just above that was the number 12 ? And I wish you would show us how it Divided also That would be cool if you did quite a few calculations to show how it's done.
I am being told that you had to be just joking around when you said the watch can multiply and divide. I've looked all over there's not one video on it.
I would just have to use it as a watch I don't know how to do the calculat it seems like it would be very interesting to learn It seems nobody else has Been able to teach me how to use it for calculating and Multiplication and vision. So I will hopefully wait and see a video from you to show how it's done.
Zegarek prezentowałby się znacznie bardziej ładniej jeśli byłby w granatowej/niebieskiej wersji kolorystycznej, granat/niebieski jest poprostu piękny, wystarczy to zobaczyć chociażby na EFS-S510D-2AVUEF lub też na pięknym niebieskim duro MDV-106B-2AV
The slide rule bezel appears badly made based upon how much it shakes when you try to adjust it. It looks odd on a casio. Since casio is known for accuracy (in my mind) and a circular slide rule is mostly an estimation device. Looks cute though and the wearer can convert temperature from celsius to Fahrenheit instantly.
The most beautiful thing of this watch is it is not available in my India. I guess you should pass this in giveaway to me . lol. Really now i am in love with it i dont know what words to say. But its clasp is not matching the watch what i feel its clasp
It's not a popular model, few people use slide rules in India. Earlier students would learn logarithms and use logarithm tables in exams. Now logarithms are no longer taught in school. Either way nobody ever learnt slide rules in school.
