CASIO G-SHOCK GWN-Q1000 Gulfmaster Bracelet review + Tutorial on how to fit 

Cheers for your feedback my friend, that has really made me smile :)))) This is my second time at this channel, first one got removed over a silly April fool's video that didn't even breach the guidelines, and I was almost on 8k subs! But I've picked myself up and also got much support from the other channels I was following, so have got back to where I am really... just lost much of my content as I was using the channel to store my videos. I would agree with you there my friend... but the strap that came with my GWN-Q1000 was way to slippery and the keeper just wanted nothing better than to not be a keeper... I know it's a price, but considering how practical and how much of a part it plays, then really worth is... nothing worse than a bad strap or bracelet... it's also really comfortable, and with that quick adjustment, perfect for those heated moments, or cold for that matter :-P Cheers!

Citizen are know to be complicated and if not used regularly you do forget... that in mind got one winging its way from the States that I've been wanting to review for a while, and the movement looks like it's used in the new Bullhead that was released last year but turned 90o?? Maybe try some leather on that Citizen just to give it a new sex appeal, as you're out of love with it for sure... but sentimentally stuck with it... now I'm sure she'll understand and just get her to buy you another but with your eye on it LML :-P My Mrs would never buy me a watch, just like me not buying her shoes :-P

@@steffrouen These are spring pins that are all stainless steel, plus the small metal protectors between the pins and links are also all stainless, so if you're worrying about rust/corrosion then don't, as this bracelet is made for the watch which is meant for diving/scuba, so stop worrying and enjoy my friend :)) and before you ask, yes the clasp and extender are all stainless :) Just rinse off when possible after using in lakes and the sea, as leaving whatever is found in the water may leave a residue that can make it feel unpleasant the next day.

My wrists are swelling when it's warm, and sometimes during the day .. Making the band one wider then it's to wide, one tighter it's to tight. Driving me nuts sometimes🤪

@@marlenjeangraulau2221 With this bracelet, you can adjust even with the bracelet on your wrist by undoing the clasp... there's a scroll wheel on the underside that's easy to reach with a finger, then scroll quickly to relieve the pinch on the wrist. You will love it, it also has a diver's extension which just adds to the versatility :)) Looking forward to when you have it fitted... and it really does change the watch impression, they should've made it with the bracelet from the start... the original strap is nice, but a little slippery, and when wet, the keep just rolls off. Cheers :))

Well that's all great my friend, and if you're using them in a not so heavy way, then they'll stay fresh, and this is great if re-selling... but when these protectors get dirty edged, this can be more harm than good, and thus why I won't make such a video... the glass is better being left exposed, it was made that way.. I know you want to extend the life, but these films can be a nuisance when out in the real dirt if situations, and when cold and wet, they do lift around the edge. Now if it makes you safer then this is what it's about, and if you can't find the best fitting, then why not try outdated smartphone protective screens, that can be shaped?? There's loads of these selling so cheap, some have that memory protection. Sorry if I sound harsh, but my goal is for the best, and would hate to know something bad happened from it. If you don't use the watches in such a way like me, then I can understand, keeps the value on the watch better, which is wiser :)) I remember the time when my Father placed these plastic sheets over the car seats when bought new, this was back in the 80's... and when he came to sell the car, those plastic sheets stuck to the fabric, and basically ruined them, and if he tried to remove them it just made it worse... so the moral, he didn't appreciate the material on the seats, and just sat on plastic, the other moral, are you just looking after it for the new keeper??? Hope you're having a good time with the Fenix 6, are you letting your wife try it?? LML :-P

@@marlenjeangraulau2221 It's your choice my friend, but with my experience and the use of these screen protectors they really can do more harm. You can mark the sapphire on rock, bricks and even on your partners wedding rings diamond, unless you cheated LML :-P But these protectors are more for gimmick, and I don't have them on my phones... if these screen protectors where so good, why isn't the crystal made fully from screen protector material??? I feel the manufactures put a lot of work into which crystals work for the better, than a cheap company making money from selling clear stickers... there's some thought hey :-P Just enjoy the real side of the crystal, and so far i've yet to mark or damage my Garmin's, and that poor Instinct has been living on Mrs Rangeman's wrist for many months, and she don't look after watches :-P LML

@@WatchUP69MrRangeman good morning🙂‼️ I hope we are talking about the same material for the screen protectors ( my English is not that good😂) I mean the glass ones , not Plastik . Those Wich you can remove without rests. On our cellphones we always use the glass protection , and it saved my display more then once. I'm a floor layer and often hitting cellphones and watches with heavy and hard stuff , like cement or different chemicals . That was where my idea came from. @@marlenjeangraulau2221 Well I didn't know they did glass versions of the protectors, maybe they would be ok as they won't bend and peel in the corners. It's the flexible ones I meant, those just catch on the fluff in your pocket and lift the corners, then once the fine dust gets trapped, then it just makes the glass you're protecting worse off. We are all well my friend... looking forward to travel Europe again, maybe I should pass by one day and surprise you both with my German LML :-P At the moment Switzerland have their boarders closed to someone like me, so am just waiting for the green light, and I'm dust LML :-P Cheers :))

Hey my friend... yeah, I'm back but lost a lot of content... the climb at the bottom is kind of going back to school... punishment was harsh for not breaching one rule in the RU-vid guidelines, so work that one out... and I don't even swear like Archie Balls the Third???? Best upgrade you can do to this watch... this is what should've been released with these, but only a few of the Gulfmaster models came with bracelets. Short story only last week my channel had nearly 8'000 subscribers, and due to an April fools video I made upon a replica, it was flagged with a legal complaint... quite upsetting with all my work removed and most of it lost... It's even more annoying that there is hundreds of replica videos even on channel that got caught selling replicas as originals which are still live and posting??? Work that one out??? Thus why I have posted many videos in one go... I have kept some back so I can post frequently till my find me again, well. hopefully most of them. I am classed as G-Nutz which are my favourite brand, but I also cover other brands too so it's pretty much a mix. Hope you find my style entertaining but most importantly useful :)) Cheers and have a grand Sunday!

@@steffrouen I had an interesting conversation a few weeks ago about which watch I would take if I could only take one from my collection in an event of a Zombie domination... this Gulfmaster was my second choice next to my Rangeman GW-9400... it really has everything in one watch, plus it has a torch as a backlight... it was also my first Master of G... absolutely no regrets :)) The bracelet just finishes it off but they normally come with the resin, not sure why it doesn't have the carbon insert in the strap, but now I have mine on a bracelet, there's no turning back :))

Cheers for the feedback. Try newonce on eBay as that's where I bought mine. They sell CASIO spares, so if you don't see it, just send them a message saying you saw a video about it by WatchUP69 then they'll know exactly which bracelet. It's expensive, but it also makes the wearability incredible, especially with regards to adjustments on the spot, plus it looks way better. I'm not returning back to the strap. Let me know how you get on, as many ask also. Cheers buddy :)

Hey buddy... The issues have long been ironed out, and if it's after 2018 then even better. Just ask the supplier when the watch was made, or have them send a picture of the serial number on the back, and check this on any of the websites that show how to read the date... Usually just typing in Casio serial numbers works. I've not heard anyone from the channel have issues, and I've had mine since the beginning of 2018... think Casio was replacing the module, but don't think it was many, and you know how some things are, with one case and panic sets in. If you can find the bracelet for a great deal, really worth it, makes the difference. Hope that helps you my friend ;)

@@cjinevitable4781 Hey buddy... 201C = Factory Code 49 = Days Intro the year, so this world be in February B = 2017 The Gulfmaster was released in August 2016 and I’m guessing it was part of those earlier ones released that had the issues... so yours being 2017 would be a later version... looking at mine, I have the date set at 236 days on 2016 (Using letter F) so a later version. I can’t pin point exactly what numbers had the issues, but can’t find many cases either. I bought mine in 2018, and it was already just over a year old. On your number, I don’t know what the ‘OB’ means, could be more about the factory code? You’ll find that not all G-Shocks have batch/serial numbers, so it’s either on earlier G-Shocks or Master of G’s and some special edition ones. Yours is perfect my friend and so no need to worry. It was with regards to the hand sweep, where the hour hand would remain at the 2 o’clock position, then not align when back in Home Time giving the wrong time. Concerns were raised in September 2016 and Casio acted in faith and replaced those with the issue. It was a programming fault, not something that developed just to add. Hope that helps

I posted on my Instagram 'WatchUP69' so have a peek on there... but it's all over an April fools video I posted last year with regards to showing a replica... my channel got flagged with a legal complaint and removed without question. Very odd that mine was removed while hundreds of other replica videos are still live... Horology House has been caught selling fakes as originals but their channel is still live, so if that's not a kick in the nutz I have no idea??? @@wyominggunproject It's all my subscribers I feel sorry for the most.. my intent is not only to entertain with fun, but to give something new also with mini watch fun movies and tutorials of great depth... so over the two years working hard on the channel being removed without a blink of an eye was really tough... but as I'm so passionate I have returned, and thanks to some fellow RU-vid watch channels who encouraged me not to give up... just with the mind that replicas are now taboo... but for many they don't like channels who show these watches, so will exclude them so I don't go on the naughty boy list again LML :-P Cheers :)

@@WatchUP69MrRangeman Hey goodmorning, so i went to the jeweller yesterday with my wife to look at the 2 mtg-b2000 models..they are as expected amazing in real life! but... they also had a mudmaster gwg-1000-1aer, also a mudmaster i always wanted. it was 300 euros cheaper. so i went for the mudmaster haha! i have multiple steel luxury watches so the mtg would just be another stainless watch.. it is beautifull but the mudmaster is something totally different for my collection. so i bought 4 g-shocks in the last 3 weeks haha. the carbon gravity master, the new g-steel b300 , a bluetooth square and now the mudmaster. the mudmaster is amazing in real life, it feels very premium! i wish it also had bluetooth but as it sits its a very cool watch!

@@hfuffvnjvnijd8989 Great choice my friend... that's the worry I have being that the MT-G's are mostly solid steel, and I did own two of the GWM-B5000's once, but too nice to get scratched up, so flipped the first one, then month later bought another LML and the same thing happened, so now I have a GLX-5600 on steel and it looks amazing, as it cost all in £100 I can use it without worry :)) Really look forward to the day I have the GWG in my hand, as I really want to review and tutorial it :)) Cheers :)

There is a metal “H” frame inside the links, making it stronger than you think. Combi bracelets are often misunderstood.

@@mustseenow991 When I was looking I found 'newonce' on eBay, but looking again they've increased the price, probably because they're not making them anymore? There's also TikTox that sell CASIO parts, apart from that it's secondary market. The bracelet has resin links with metal parts, the clasp is metal with the extendable adjustment including diver extension. Might have to be patient, but the GWN-Q1000 doesn't feel dated at all, and still feels ahead of the times :)) Drop a message with 'newonce' and ask if they'll reduce the price, worth a hit :)

@@WatchUP69MrRangeman i couldn't find them.on eBay before but i just found them. Thks i will contact them. I have the gulfmaster GWN-1000 triple sensor..Its new but as u know already is the gulfmaster model just before your GWN-Q1000. came out. i will ask them about the resin/metal bracelet. I tried contacting sellers on Alibaba but none have it. The shops just have the stainless steel watchband for the GW-A1000 and GW-4000 model, but that strap connection must be totally different to GWN-1000 I assume? cant retro fit it right? Those stainelss steel straps for GW4000 and GW-A1000 only sell for about 20-30 quid on alibaba.

I know... it just makes it final with this bracelet... the original is too slippery and the keeper doesn't keep LML :-P

You're right, have just had a look at prices and they're over £300 now??? I guess CASIO may have stopped making them??? I feel what I paid was good value especially for the adjustment side and comfort. You're probably better off getting the watch already with the bracelet?

@@he214abc You done very well... this was my first Master of G... was looking at the Mudmaster, but with the quad sensor with the one button ABCD modes I couldn't resist... brilliant watch... so keep an eye out for the bracelet for a great deal, you never know hey :)
