I have one now. Definitely disappointed it doesn't play any Mario sounds. Cool looking, the adjust button is annoying being harder to press, but overall good.

I never thought I would learn interesting tidbits about the game from a watch review. Nice one, never knew about that symbol on the buckle meaning ten, totally thought it was a crown. I do agree it’s a bit too expensive for what it is but thankfully can get these discounted. Got mine ordered.

Kinda cool & fun G shock, maybe a little bit of a cash grab but if you're a Super Mario fan then it's not ballistically expensive & I'm pretty sure the die hards would've paid more for it. But still, yet another "special edition" to add to their portfolio.

It's a themed 5600 at the standard premium for the special units, the $tag is supposed to reflect the extra decoration - their price model, not my justification. Casio never adds themed chimes or alarms to any of their models with standard modules, I have to assume you are not familiar with this as it would be a very odd expectation from anyone who's been through the endless lather-rinse-repeat of these limited G's. $150, yeah it's a bit steep for the decoration and packaging compared to say their lesser digitals, but that's to be expected with the branding, and they are damn good watches, so I'm good with it.

Casio got lazy with this and missed a massive opportunity! Why the heck are there no Mario sfx with button presses or alarm etc ... why?! Also it's no longer limited or special because its been re-released and is now just a standard Casio g shock which could have been SO better. I want one but feel ripped off so not bothering.

Thank you for sharing Joe. I have never been one for video games, thus this does not appeal to me. This aside, I do think that it needs a little more of something... although Mario's diehard fans are probably buying them as fast as they can place an order. Bottom line, fun for some, not so much for the lonely minority like me who don't do video games.

That's so cool!! 🤣 My first console was the NES. I clocked many hours playing Super Mario Bros! The Game was included with the console. I love it! To be fair, Casio has never added special features to any of their special Edition models.other than what was included here. Just custom theming more or less. I like the alarm sound idea though. I was using Mario music for my ringtone a while back. Yeah, I'm pretty far gone 🤣🤣🤣
