One thing you got wrong is the 168 does have a 7 year battery I got this watch from amazon I read the manual and it Does have 7 year one NOT 3 years sooooooo make an other short run through video and get it right ok or else ............. 😅lol just joking 😅 big fan of your show but seriously it has a 7 year battery so it's scores a17 tied with the other one, love your show keep it coming👍
Oops, thanks for pointing out the wrong part. I was also surprised. How come I thought it was 3 years and not 7 years? I've checked my other videos with the A168 series, and they mention 7 years. Now please let me cry in shame in the corner... and let me pin this comment as a correction point. Update: The battery life of A168W is 7 years, so it deserves 1 more point, which makes it have the same points as A158W and A159W.

The 700 model (china) lags behind by 10 seconds in a month. The 159 model (Japan) is 2 seconds behind. The 700 model has a narrower diameter, less height, and LED light. It is more convenient to use without removing it. 700 is ahead except for the problem of lagging behind
I have that variant of the A700, plus variations of the rest: the A163, A168-WEMB, and B640 in black with the negative display. My view on those is as follows: FUNCTIONALITY: the B640 is far superior to the rest, with the same features as the others but on top: a repeatable countdown timer, programmable alarm, and 5 bar water resistance. It also has a decent backlight. ERGONOMICS: the A168 in WEMB form is not only beautiful to look at, but it also has the best backlight of the bunch and a mesh bracelet that, combined with its low weight make it extremely comfortable to wear. AESTHETICS: if you're after something dressy on a budget, the A700 is the one to go for. It's also the slimmest by far at just over 6mm. PRICE: the A163 wins here, being available for under £20 it's a lot of watch for the money, provided you don't care about the abysmal backlight.

B640 wining the comparison is well deserved, you can feel that it's a modern watch thanks to the functions, high quality display and visibility of bigger digits, I don't find it too tick on the wrist.the other watches have modules from the 1990s

This just convinced me to get the A700. I almost bought the A168 specifically for the light, but the thinness of the A700 with a great backlight wins 👍 Thanks for a great video.
I think B640 is by far the best. I returned my A158 for it. The backlight is bright and button is on the right side (instead of left like the others) and the watch face is cleaner with a less wordy face. Just wish it was thinner like you pointed out.
I have the B640 with the resin strap, it was uncomfortable to say the least. Tried to adjust it to fit my wrist but ends up being tighter to not my liking. I feel like that variant is supposed to be for the ladies. Never manage to buy the steel bracelet version because it was more expensive, but I bet the bracelet version is more comfortable than the resin strap.

About the looks, it's up to the user, The a168 looks like classic 80s and the b640 more like a classic 70s watch :) But for durability, the B640 has a better water resistance level.
