I have a W-736H, and I love it and highly recommend it, but ONLY in the positive-display version, as shown in this video. I first bought a negative-display one, which is even more beautiful, but I found that it's almost unreadable unless you're in a very brightly lit place. I was using the backlighting and draining the battery way too often. So I returned it, but everything else was so good that I got a positive-display version, and I couldn't be happier. Casio is not good for negative displays, it seems. I'd had a negative-display Timex before and it was great.

Im not a big fan of digital watches mainly because of their poor legibility. But this one has a very clear legibility with larger numbers on the display. Good one.
This is the only good video up on RU-vid about this watch. I have this same watch in blue. The display is very clear and sharp in all different lighting conditions, it seems to be very light sensitive which is great for improving visibility without using the backlight. The backlight itself is unique as shown in this video and it does allow for a very easy to read display in very low light conditions. The style and functionality of this watch is great for everyday use and the vibration alarm has proven to be very useful for keeping track of time without really looking at the watch, just look at the hour once and then memorise the time, each hour the watch will quickly vibrate two times, letting you know the hour has changed.
Robert NES816 excellent point about low light readability. Timex has a few models like this. It has to do with the polarization film they apply that makes the digits light up with the light button instead of the backround lighting up like other models.

its been 5 years since you posted this video. is the watch still good? especially for vibration alarm and waking up with it? did you need to replace battery? do you still use it?

@@NipunTj I would say so. The digits are larger than many Casios, the contrast is excellent, even the backlight. I can read it 1 foot in front of my face, when it's out of focus. Also, the buttons are large and very easy to use.
this watch is a great value, it has important features like timer and dual time, and is affordable compared to a g shock like the gd 350 that also has the silent vibrating alarm
Hi! At 5:12 you compare the lighting with another model. I noticed this other model had a proper illumination (rather than those two LEDs). What model is it? Sorry to ask but i do not understand the language spoken in the video. Thanks!
Hello. Do you really think that the battery of the watch with vibration function in it really lasts for 10 years????? I'm confused. Is that vibration not strong enough.
That's not really true. Before this video I watched ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vbe2V7sOE1M.html and saw that the Gshock strap is better tightened through two holes instead of one and it is more comfortable because there are two wings below the case to fit better in the wrist. What is the minimal Timer setting? For the Timex, it was 30 second. Does the timer have autorepeat function? (and can it vibrate?) Does it have functions like Occasions (once a year alarms), like the Timex does?
I did buy the watch and I am so glad I did. It may be large but it is very light weight and actually comfortable to wear. The time numbers are large and easy to read at night with it's illumination. I like how I have it vibrate every hour and for my daily alarm, which I need to remind me to take medication. I do own expensive watches but this is now my daily wearer.
В свое время,выбирал между двумя этими моделями,Timex и Casio,взял Timex(брал потому что нужен был вибробудильник)но теперь появились куча фитнес и смарт часов с этой функцией,сейчас они уже не к чему.
