Hi Sam, do You know What will happen if we yet solder the fourth and fifth pins? Great. I have an unlocked Timer in my W-800, I will unblock the alarm in a moment.
If you want to off alarm at alarm 2-5 mode you press adj button hour display blink and press adj again no beep sound hour display no blink now alarm on and press adj button 1 time hear beep sound alarm will set off
Thanks for this tip of the f201. Are there any other (non G shock) models which have multiple alarms without modification? Also which have the current time shown on the stopwatch.
Interesting, don't you think to disassemble F201W you have and look at the jumper settings on that board, just for curiosity? Because in F201W there are timer and 5 alarms from the factorty - do that PCB have jumpers at all, and if so - which is shorted, which is opened? Just for fun? :)
My guess is that this is the watch Casio used to test a new chip, one which they seem to use in many new watches. E.G. the AE-1500WH behaves identically to a timer and 5 alarm modded W-800H. And a B640W behaves like the 1 alarm, timer and no duel time setting, with an added backlight alarm so that might be one of the unknown settings. For Casio it's cheaper and less error-prone to drop in the same known-good chip and to configure it with jumpers baked in the PCB, or exposed here so they can test the settings.
HELP:just did a negative display, timer and 5 alarms mod on this Casio W-800H, problem is that the alarm beeps at 00:00 and 12:00 even though none of the 5 alarms are on..... what could be the cause of this and how to troubleshoot?
