Justifican que están solas, sin atención, para hacer tonterías. Cómo que fueran las únicas que han pasado solas, en mi caso siempre pase sola, mi mamá llegaba cansada de trabajar y ya estábamos dormidas, y mi papá trabajaba lejos venía cada 21 días. Ok so, the uncle was held accountable the possession of illegal images,and went to prison. After that he worked at a brothel. The mother of the girl left her for her sister to raise her child who she gave birth to at 13. The aunt has done nothing but try to provide, protect, and sustain the both of them. And the judge wants to stand against all of them, even the aunt. This episode is chaotic to say the least.

I don’t see how the judge could blame the aunt or the mother. It’s a known fact that many people immigrate to the US for a better life/jobs while sending money back home. The only difference in this case is that they’re Boriquen so they’re naturalized citizens of the US. Mom was sending money back home to care for her child. I’m sure she would have eventually brought her daughter to live with her as most wind up doing after getting established in a new area. It’s more common than people think. I do question her mental stability given the fact that she was abused by her uncle at such a young age. People are saying the mom abandoned her own daughter for a man? No, she left her daughter to go work. She even said she HAD to leave the house for work in Texas. Their financial situation could have just been that dire. The husband is just an added effect. The fact that she noticed her own daughter giving her husband looks, coupled with the testimony of the daughter...I have no doubt in my mind that Yukeika was probably attracted to and/or on the hunt for her own mother’s husband. If she were daughter and I noticed that too, she would be gone. Why kick out my blameless husband for a fast child? I understand why the judge was angry at the aunt as well. As she said, it's not enough to just work and take a child to school, especially if you are the guardian.
