Also that 2:12 drop is just insane. It's nothing like wubuwubwubwub *random scream or stupid pitched woman's voice* It's just fucking epic drop and then the wub starts to get in your brain and you're like yeah I want some more of this real shit...
Roko Žilić commercial bullshit is what that is. Bells and whistles pots and pans is all it is. Proper deep bass dubstep is where it began and where it should've stayed 👍🏻
I've been listening to dubstep for a long time, if you like this song. you will love these artists. they are really good. but not mainstream so a lot of people dont know about them, Dubsidia, Daladubs, Unconscious Perception, Hulk, and Dagga. Check them out :) Thumbs so other people can see?
yeah i recently educated myself on real dubstep. first song i hear was from some caspa & rusko i downloaded for some reason a while ago. it was either drop, jehova, or africa vip. I was like, "OHHH so THIS is dubstep..." i still like datsik and some of the agressive stuff though but this is great. what are some other good UK dubstep artists i can check out?
Dubstep came from Croydon, it spread to London very fast because all of these shit producing artists looking for some new inspiration. DUB came from India or Indonesia, one of the two, And then the people of Croydon gave it more of a reverb and that's why you hear the wub wub wub... I'm not saying this too bullshit you either haha I'm from manchester and hate Croydon, it's a shit hole! But it's a fact! Dubstep is from there!
@brownscirocco but this is catchy man.. haha all EDM is repetitive.. i just find that if you listened to "Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites" you listened to pretty much everything by him.. i dont hate him, im just saying hes nowhere as close as Rusko or Caspa or Skream
@brownscirocco i dont hate skrillex and on top of that i still wouldn leave a rude reply.. i still listen to him, i just find the songs i get over the songs faster than i do over tracks like these.. anyways, dubstep is dubstep:) still an amazing genre
@ppjj8 ppjj8 why don't you go away and learn about what music actually is and where it has come / evolved from. While you're reading up you can play your Katy Perry CD / Download if you wish.
I don't think I undersdtand you... Caspa is "old"... So what does this mean??? Music is timeless...not a carton of milk that spoils!! There is no cut off date for enjoying music.
@the3idiots14 That doesn't mean i can't suggest a channel from where he might find artists. And why are you worried about what i'm suggesting? This has nothing to do with you. And your comments have only shown that you have nothing better to do with your life than to start arguments with people on youtube you will never meet. What's the point? I mean if you want to argue about something go into politics there's plenty to argue.
@backburner123 Coming from metal, artists like Helicopter Showdown, Datsik, Funtcase, and Zed's Dead really turned me onto dubstep. However, these are all newer artists, which some purists frown upon. For the more traditional sound, I'd look in to Caspa, Rusko, Skream, and Benga. Don't ever listen to Borgore, no matter what.
@SamTheElectroFreak lol i do know almost every single tune by skrillex since he released his first ep, but its all relative. I want to thank you for not attacking and leaving a reply that is not rude. anyways, i fucking love skream. one my favorite 'original' dubstep aritsts. hes fucking brilliant!
@AtTheDitch Well sorry but Datsik and those 2 others are not Dubstep. If anything is Dubstep then it sure is Caspa/Benga/Coki/Rusko/Skream and so on... You seem to mistake dubstep. Dubstep is about the strong presence of the bass. The "Dubstep" you're listening to is just midrange crap.
@the3idiots14 The only thing Comments on this feed should be directed toward is spreading the love of dubstep to a new fan and if you don't like my method of doing so, get over it. suggest your own artist or channel doesn't matter just stop arguing over nothing for fuck sakes
in what way is this proof of that? there's even a sample of a 14 year old kid saying "and I'll batter dem as well" in this song! dubstep has gone the other way - everyone listens to it now - it's no longer exclusive to any group of people
its to bad no one gives cred to all the small time dub djs that mixed samples in there basements and went through the shit of hearing mommy and daddy tell them there music sounds like shit and to go outside, thumbs up so all the small timers can see this
OMFG shut up about Skrillex. This is Caspa and Rusko not Skrillex. I have no problem's with the guy and his music, he just has a different style. NOW, shut up and enjoy the music instead of bashing Skrillex for top comment.
@SamTheElectroFreak I'm sorry, but you're telling me this isn't repetitive? Haha (': Not saying I don't like it, I love it, but I'll admit, it's just as repetitive as most Electronic Music.
@DubstepOnLockdown lucky fucking bastard, the first i listened was chrispy's rihanna crap. i hated dubstep for months, until i found blackleg and searched further. caspa is best dubstep hands down
@PCGameplayVids2 i know how much they cost. i am also fully aware that most people wont belive it. but i do have a set. they get used almost everyday. best investment i have ever made.
@AtTheDitch Not sure if troll but those names you named are the ones bringing the real dubstep and not the midrange madness from these days. "L2 Dubstep" right back at ya mate!
i said know not like, yes well done for noticing that we both like this song, however my point still stands that you know shit all regarding how this genre changed and when.
@XxDreadfulDreamingxX Then you are greatly outnumbered. But good for you. Come on! an American asked me if I (and all other English) were distantly related to the queen.
no,he said he created, and others took it too far not him,and why would he lie about him being the one who created it if he doesn't even like what it has become
@TheDjWMD i got some nice shures and boses that beat hard. u got headphone amp? if not u should get one, it will give your headphones their full potential lol
@SamTheElectroFreak in all fairness, this is arguably just as 'repetitive' as skrillex. even though i dont think either are. they both have simila rstructure
