Had one, loved it, full of problems, quality issues, I had it serviced and repaired and it still had problems. I was glad I could sell for what I payed for it, without the cost of the service and another strap, and got a quartz, an Edox, nothing wow, but a waaaaaaay better watch

@@PerthWAtch I actually am happy I got rid of it, it always felt unlucky :)))) I also had play in the bezel, side to side play, that drove me insane

Hey Perth, i was debating on getting this actually, BUT Have you heard of the thunderbirds chronograph that uses the seagull movement? Same movement as the seagull 1963 Chrono But this movement isnt as nicely decorated as the 1963 Similar price range, but is it worth to get the NaviTimer homage over this? I know its comparing a diver over a pilot But... thoughts?

Hi Harvard... Thanks for that, I haven't really looked at Thunderbirds as a brand before. I take it you mean the Historage Chrono with the Seagull movement? It looks like a pretty good choice but I think *very* different conceptually to this Vostok, so it depends what you're looking for really. Given a choice I'd probably look at the Chrono 2 with Miyota movement, as its a more functional timer and also closer to the Navitimer in appearance. Cheers, Ivan.

By your recommendation i bought me the caspian seamonster :-) But unfortunately it came with an ugly green watch strap... I really like your strap a lot. Do you have any idea where to buy it (online)? Greets from Germany!

Interesting comment! Rolex no longer use Tritium in their lume but did you know they actually used to?
